StarV never once said it was a strong gambit and you still don't understand that game at all zzz. You made a dumb comment about paying scum to exit the game when it was always in town's best interest to make smaller purchases for BPV/tracks/vigs, so you revealed scum intent very very quickly. You then tried to create an elaborate trolly town ruse that no one actually bought because you were a known quantity and they then played you like a fiddle to reveal who you did/didn't want to vote out, which outed me. I also think you're drastically undervaluing Kiymali here, they could have had a real chance of winning the game if you didn't out them on day 1. Just because Kiymali's native language isn't English doesn't mean that they are illiterate, and they WERE putting in real effort (just look at all of their chess tutoring stuff) but you just decided they didn't matter all on your own so you outed them. I kinda find it borderline offensive that you diminish and overlook Kiymali's abilities when they easily played the best scum game out of the three of us in that game.
Again, I'm glad that you're now saying you're not going to troll on smogon, but I think your perspective of the above game is still highly warped and your refusal to see it from any other perspective is blocking you from moving forward because you mistakenly think that you played well that game, and multiple townies have flat out said that you made a dick move to out your team like that but just because you were the last of the three scum to be voted out you think you're some god. and people already have harassed you in subsequent games on 451 due to your continued trolling.
me saying that the innocent muffin m2h is the route to go to fix your meta is not me trying to be salty or demeaning and the context you have with the phrase now is entirely different than the context we used to define it prior to the chesskid game. Literally before the above game started on n1, I used the term to describe your pre-existing town and scum metas, saying that you had big townie energy that would occasionally turn a wee bit threatening while still being a sugary sweet treat afterwards. and basically the entire context of the phrase now just means "how m2h played mafia before deciding to out the scum team and troll a game away."
I am legitimately beyond dumbfounded how you can repeatedly defend a game strategy where you literally outted yourself against your scummate's wishes and for you to genuinely think people praised you for the move when the fact is the were laughing at you. It's like you walked into a room by saying a bad joke and heard people laughing, so you assumed they were laughing at the joke you told, but everyone was laughing at you for making the joke instead of laughing at the joke itself.
The m2h prior to that game was funny and smart and witty and able to really mold into an ambiguous alignment and to have friendly banter that wasn't super distracting but equal parts of charming and threatening. So I realize you have the history of being a character that people want to laugh and joke with, rather than being someone laughed at. But as someone who did laugh and joke with you prior to the chesskid game, I have to point out that it was not the same during and after said game x.x I get that if you've done a lot of things right, that when you do things wrong you want to focus on your strengths, but ughhhhh. Please please please please realize that you did NOT play a good game that game. Outing yourself and your scummates is NOT a good game. Town making questionable tracks or whatever at night does NOT mean you played well. The game has been described by multiple people as a throwing contest where both town and scum tried to outthrow the other, and you should NOT take pride in this at all. Sure, you can maybe one day look back at the whole thing as something outrageous and thus funny, but you should not look back at the game as you playing well. You betrayed your wincon with your teammates in favor of an imaginary wincon of getting $1000 to exit the game with a win DESPITE knowing that there wasn't even $1000 left in the game because it was provable and knowable to you that Urist spent his money on night 1.
You had no win con. You were never getting $100. You were never surviving to a f4 or a f3. You were always in the POE and nothing you could do would ever get you out of the POE because you were the one who put yourself there. Bussing is better than what you did because it has a chance of getting scum out of the POE, but everything you did was to paint a big red circle over you to say you should always be in the POE. Surviving d1 and d2 did not remove you from that POE, and a townie accidentally vigging another townie did not get you out of that POE. Your actions had nothing to do with the townie Andres being voted out, as they were my actions of buddying up to him and dividing him from the other townies that made him be mis-voted out. You had no interaction with andres prior to him being voted out, you were not the reason he was voted out, you did not cast a vote for him to be voted out, you did not play well to get him voted out. Kiymali and I dragged andres into the POE, but you put yourself into a situation where you never had a chance of getting out of the POE. And you even admitted at various points that you never wanted out of the POE because you wanted people to give you money to exit the game, money that mathematically proven to not exist but you never even once bothered to do the math.
m2h prior to this game was great and funny and my friend. m2h after this game grew an ego the size of texas despite making the worst decisions possible and yet sticking with them, calling them the best decisions and mistakenly thinking he could have ever won that game with such a strategy. you can't win scum games by outing the scum team, please don't ever try it again. not even StarV trolls that much.
and i obviously like[d] playing mafia with you, m2h, a whole hecking lot. But man, this game and your attitude after it have been not-cool.
