Banned deucer.

Mienfoo @ Choice Band
Level: 5
Ability: Reckless
EVs: 236 Atk / 36 Def / 236 Spe
Jolly Nature
- High Jump Kick
- Knock Off
- U-turn
- Drain Punch / Stone Edge

While Mienfoo is typically seen with an Eviolite, the combination of Reckless High Jump Kick and a Choice Band allows it to plow through both common Fighting answers and neutral targets, pummeling targets like Foongus and Mareanie, especially if it manages to hit them with Knock Off prior. It's also a great lure to lead Vullaby, which usually fears little from Mienfoo. Knock Off means that Mienfoo can remove Eviolites from these Pokemon, making it impossible for them to counter it, and U-turn gives it an option to revenge kill weakened threats and preserve momentum. Drain Punch is a useful cleaning tool with perfect accuracy, but Stone Edge can be used instead for a surprise OHKO on Dewpider. This Mienfoo set has some issues with Spritzee, so partners like Mareanie and Ferroseed are helpful for their ability to counter it. Partners that can switch into Pokemon like Wingull and Abra, like Pawniard and Ferroseed, are also quite helpful, as those Pokemon are common Mienfoo revenge killers.

i think the first thing to make clear should be that foo usually runs eviolite, so band + reckless can surprise the opponent. it doesnt just plow through fighting resists, it destroys neutral targets too, importantly having the potential to lure vullaby at lead. you can remove the koffing mention, i dont think its relevant enough rn

Knock Off means that Mienfoo can remove Eviolites from these Pokemon, making it impossible for them to check it
id say counter instead of check just because a knocked foongus still 1v1s foo most of the time

Drain Punch is a useful cleaning tool that doesn't risk missing, and it can help Mienfoo with healing off damage from entry hazards and potential High Jump Kick misses.
remove second part, the recovery isnt worth mentioning considering how frail bandfoo is anyway and how rarely drain punch is clicked.
also slash stone edge over drain punch as a way to surprise ohko dewpider

partners like Mareanie and Foongus are helpful for their ability to check it.
say counter instead of check
foongus is fine but ferro would be a better example just because its better atm

Other partners that can switch into Pokemon like Vullaby and Abra, like Pawniard and Ferroseed, are quite helpful, as those Pokemon are very common Mienfoo revenge killers.
the majority of vull lose to this set, so say wingull instead

While Mienfoo is typically seen with an Eviolite, but the combination of Reckless High Jump Kick and a Choice Band allows Mienfoo it to plow through both common Fighting resists switch-ins / answers (though iirc "resists" is acceptable enough in spotlights if that specifically conveys the nuance you want) and neutral targets, pummeling targets like Foongus and Mareanie, especially if it manages to hit them with Knock Off prior. (can just fuse this into "Pokemon like" if you need to ditch chars)
