Breloom 'nuf said.

Breloom isn't that hard to counter.
It's too predictable and depends on 1 moveset unlike salamence which can go or physical, special or mixed making it unpredictable and hard to counter.

Biggest OU threat?
I'd say garchomp or salamence.

Looks like its a fight between the 2 dragons Garchomp and Salamence.

Many people say nothing can come into a Salamence without taking a huge dent. Then again, theres also ChainChomp which can do the same role of a MixMence so then it can also be said that nothing can come into a Garchomp without taking a huge dent.

Oh and the highest base attack in OU belongs to Rhyperior, not Salamence, at 140 Att, though Rhyperior doesnt seem OU anymore...

Infernape is really hard to predict; nothing totally counters it; and it's pretty easy to get swept if you're not careful.

why doesn't anybody vote metagross?
yes it's predictable, but it can switch in on practically any pokemon and pwn it with STAB meteor mashes
it's also hard as ass to take down after magnet rise and in the rain

Metagross is one of the best counters to every other OU poke. Meteor Mash takes out Weavile and Tyranitar, Ice Punch takes out Garchomp and Salamence. Metagross has awesome defense that allows it to survive an EQ from Garchomp (especially if you give it a Shuca berry).

I have to go with the other option and go with Hippowdon. That thing is the most annoying thing I have ever faced. Tyranitar as annoying as it is doesn't annoy me as much as Hippowdon. Tyranitar has all of those weaknesses that help to stop it. Hippowdon only has half of those, takes hits like a man, and hits fairly well.

yeah, but the difference between chainchomp and mixmence is the extra 30 base special attack that salamence has, making that dent that they take into a hole, completely overshadowing chainchomp's surprise dent. salamence also has 5 more attack, but that doesn't make that big a difference.

Garchomp, if for no other reason than if there's one Pokemon I find myself getting swept most often by, it's this versatile beast. He's also the most used Pokemon next to Blissey, which means you need to be prepared for him. Despite also being one of the most used Poke's, I don't see Salamence half as often as Garchomp and I don't find myself getting swept by him as often; MixMence and SpecsMence hit hard and are difficult to switch in to, but they'll rarely sweep an entire team like Garchomp can. DDMence can reach sweeping potential like Chomp, but it's significantly easier to stop. Chomp wins.

For me personally, I wouldn't say that Garchomp is the most threatening. He's never really given me any real problems compared to Tyranitar or Gyarados. I will say that Garchomp is the most overused OU though. I almost always see him. If I battle 7 different trainers for example, 5 of them will have a Garchomp on their team. That's not to take away what Garchomp can do though. I just feel he is the most common OU.

Weavile is even faster and can do the same^^ (Or does it even OHKO)
Hard decision, Salamence usually eats at least one Pokemon if you dont know the set, Garchomp is the best pure physical attacker and can surprise kill your Walls as chainchomp, and Gyarados easily sweeps entire teams with 2 DDs.I guss Gengar would be the best but People seem to use only few of all its possibilities.
I dont know anymore what i voted oO

Salamence.
Can hit extremely hard from both sides of the spectrum.
Gengar is a second thanks to a monster movepool excellent special attacking stats, And good enough physical moves to take out many of his counters.
Garchomp is severely overrated...

I picked Garchomp, since he's a great sweeper, and can take down Tyranitar very easily by using Sand Stream against him.

Of course, they work very well together for the same reason! XD

Also, Chain Chomp can catch you off guard. Its special attack isn't nearly as good as it's attack, but it's still very much useable (unlike with Weavile).

I voted Garchomp. It has two great STABs, and together they have great type coverage. Combined with Swords Dance, Garchomp has the potential to sweep a team. Also, you could lose at least one Pokemon to Chain Chomp if you mispredict. This is why Cresselia is probably its best counter. She can survive any of Garchomp's attacks with her great defenses.

Salamence comes in a close second. You don't know what type of set it is running until it attacks, and you could lose a Pokemon in the process. However, once you know what set it is running, it becomes a lot easier to counter.

I think Gyarados its the best garchomp counter, it can take a hit and hit back with ice fang, also i think that the tread i made a while ago was similar to this one, but this one looks much better, with more options

Gengar and Gyarados are the ones that give me the biggest problems, Gengar with its key resistances and Gyarados with its Taunt/DD combo. Garchomp is really too slow to worry me that much, and the Choice Scarf Garchomp can be countered after it has killed the first pokemon.

Voted Salamence on the grounds that there really is no safe switch in. You can pack a counter for each set individually, though you cannot counter the threat of it as a whole.
