Niche:
Firstly, please ax all of the legendary signatures. Not really interested in just handing out moves clearly indicated by GF to be sigs.

Specifically for Camerupt, It's too good atm. Its a much better Nidoking and Nido is a A rank Wallbreaker in OU. I'd please ask for a substantial speed nerf. Also, no Drought. Sun has enough support, Camerupt already has a top tier ability. Remove it.

In regards to Sableye I'd also ask for removing Strength Sap as we just roved that from Zipette.

Mega being Revolved: Steelix
New Pokémon Name: Alloynix
Stats: 85/125/200/55/65/30
Typing:
Iron Defense - Steel-type
,
Dragon Breath - Dragon-type

Abilities: Sand Force, Sturdy, Dragon's Maw
Movepool Additions: (From Steelix) Dragon Hammer, Diamond Storm
Niche: A better version of Regidrago, with coverage and a more balanced spread.
Dragon's Maw is too strong here. Either ax the ability or the Dragon typing. A "better version of Regidrago" is probably a broken Pokemon.

:swsh/camerupt-mega:
Detonerus (Detonate - Ferus Camelus Ferus)

80 (+10) / 100 / 80 (+10) / 145 (+40) / 75 / 30 (-10) | 510 BST
Magma Armor / Flash Fire / (Sheer Force)
Inferno, Scorching Sands, Power Gem

Detonerus packs a punch. Like, a massive punch. It was the special attack to match regular Megarupt, with the option to also hold an item. Flash Fire allows it switch-ins on fire type moves, from which it can pack an even bigger punch. Sheer Force is also an option if you'd prefer the raw, consistent power boost. Magma Armor just kinda exists... Power Gem gives it a slight coverage boost, but not much. Lets it hit Flying Types and that's about it.
I think Detonerus is far too powerful, especially since it can hold an item. I'd please ask for some reallocation if that massive SpA.

Voting opens tomorrow night, so get these nerfs in place!

Fashionably late as always, here to attempt to change your votes.

Mega being Revolved: Camerupt
New Pokémon Name: Humpdai (HUMP DAYYYYYY)
Types: Fire/Ground
Abilities: Sheer Force, Anger Point & Solid Rock
Stats: 90+75+105+115+105+20=510
Movepool Additions: Camerupt + Calm Mind,
Niche: This thing has sheer force. And do you know how deathly Nidoking is? I hope that the speed will keep this thing balanced, alongside the defenses. But then there is CM.

Mega being Revolved: Sableye
New Pokémon Name: Gexter (Gem + Jester)
Stats: 90+30+125+90+115+10=460
Typing: Ghost/Dark
Abilities: Magic Bounce, Prankster & Regenerator
Movepool Additions: Sableye + Teleport
Niche: Defensive Pokemon that can set up with CM, but not the main purpose. And it has RegenPort!

Mega being Revolved: Steelix
New Pokémon Name: Serlix (Serpent + Steelix)
Stats: 75+65+95+105+200+20=560
Typing: Steel-Fairy
Abilities: Sand Force, Rock Head & Sturdy
Movepool Additions: Steelix + Moonblast, Draining Kiss & Nasty Plot
Niche:

I turned this boi around into a special user. Due to the speed, NP isn't 100% broken AF on it. And it can fire off decent hits.

I may well change some of my votes later, but I will make it clear if I do. There are just a bunch of calculations I want to do with regards to both Sand Force and especially Sheer Force that I don't feel like doing tonight.

[EDIT #1: Good gods does Flare Blitz from Camerupt-Mega hit absurdly hard at 110 base Atk or above with Life Orb Sheer Force. Even if it still takes recoil from it, I was a fool to give it that much power on either side, much less both. As such, I regrettably must move Scoopapa's submission from first to third and have Mossy Sandwich's submission leapfrog over G-Luke's just because it's less likely to murder almost everything, including the redone Starietta via lacking Power Gem.]

Winners!

Mega being Revolved: Mega Aggron
New Pokémon Name: Pulgasaron (Pulgasari + ron suffix of its prevos)
Stats: 80 / 115 / 185 / 60 / 60 / 70 (540 BST)
Typing:

Abilities: Sturdy / Filter / Heavy Metal
Movepool Additions: Aggron's base movepool + Pain Split.
Niche: LOOK AT THIS BIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIG BOI! Anyway it's a better Aggron and a surprisingly fast wall. It also gets pain split which you know is a kind of recovery but like the D tier of recovery moves. Either way it exists but in a way that doesn't make it too bulky compared to its competition due to its lackluster recovery. Aside from that it can probably have a funny wallbreaker set involving heavy slam.

New Pokémon Name: Orichalix (orichalcum + -ix (from Onix))
Stats: 75/75/160/75/65/110 | 560 BST
Typing: Steel/Dragon
Abilities: Sand Force, Sturdy, Rough Skin
Movepool: Steelix's + Outrage, Dragon Rush, Draco Meteor, Coil, Glare, Spikes
Niche: While Steelix is vastly different from Onix, Orichalix rolls with the chunky Defense and surprisingly high Speed that makes Onix unique. Sand Force with Power Herb + Meteor Beam has potential to make Flash Cannon and Earth Power as strong as possible, Sturdy promotes the use of Orichalix as a hazard lead with Steel Beam, and Rough Skin goes best with Coil.
:ss/Camerupt-Mega:
Mega being Revolved: Camerupt-Mega
New Pokémon Name: Humpeii (Pompeii + Hump)
Stats: 100 HP / 100 Atk / 70 Def / 110 SpA / 75 SpD / 55 Spe (510 BST)
Typing:

Abilities: Magma Armor / Solid Rock | HA: Sheer Force
Movepool Additions: Flare Blitz, High Horsepower, Morning Sun, Power Gem, Scorching Sands, Burning Jealousy, Heat Crash
Niche: An alternative to Nidoking, who trades a better speed tier for slightly better bulk and a WHOLE lot more fire power. It can even go crazy with Growth if that's your forte, as Dual STAB + Morning Sun is literally all you need to wreck 90% of the tier.
:swsh/sableye-mega:
Sabsidian (Sable - Obsidian)

70 (+20) / 85 (+10) / 130 (+55) / 75 (+10) / 75 (+10) / 25 (-25) | 460 BST
Keen Eye / Stall / (Magic Bounce)
Parting Shot, Brutal Swing, Iron Defense, Amnesia, Reflect, Light Screen

Sabsidian is a bulky physical mon, able to cripple enemies with Parting Shot / Will-o-Wisp on the status side, and Snarl/Brutal Swing on the attacking side. Iron Defense and Amnesia can boost its defense, with Light Screen and Reflect doing the same for the team, and with reliable recovery it's not easy to whittle it down physically. Pair that with Magic Bounce to repel status moves, and you've got a pretty nice mon on your hands. If you wish to be gimmicky, you could also use Wonder Room, or Stall Parting Shot as a slow pivot.
Next Slate will be announced tomorrow! You can have a quick discussion in the meantime

Slate 9: Pixie Power!

Requirements

- All 3 mons are treated as regular evolutions; Gardevoir has up to +40 bst to distribute. Altaria has up to +50 to distribute. And Mawile has a maximum of +80.
- They must all keep their Fairy typing. [Keep in Mind if you change Gardevoir's typing chances are Gallade will have to match it]
- Three abilities max for each Pokémon, except Altaria, who only has two.

Lets get started!

Typing: Fire/Fairy
Abilities: Flame Body/Pixilate HA: Sturdy
Movepool Additions: Altaria + Boomburst, Sacred Fire, Recover, Detect, Magnet Rise
Niche:
What is the purpose of all of that extra coverage for Gardevoir?

Also, I think we went over this last slate in regards to legendary signatures. Also Boomburst is a no. Don't even try balancing it.

And there is something that is generally left unsaid, but I'd expect people should know - these Pokémon are evolutions from their base forms for almost every variant. Comepletely swapping a typing is EXTREMEMLY rare in Pokémon. How am I explain how a Normal Flying goes to Dragon Flying to Fire Fairy??? Like, c'mon.

Work!
Mega being Revolved: Gardevoir
New Pokémon Name: Telempathy [telepathy + empathy]
Stats: 83 / 125 / 55 / 95 / 85 / 115 [558 BST]
Typing: Ghost / Fairy
Abilities: Queenly Majesty / Trace | Pixilate
Movepool Additions: Poltergeist, Spirit Break, Swords Dance
Niche: wtf ema why make a physical gardevoir?
  • Physical Fairies have to deal with Play Rough's 90acc. Pixilate Body Slam has perfect accuracy and can spread para.
  • Shadow Sneak for revenge kills is cool and gives it a niche with Ghost-type priority
  • Access to Ice coverage (Triple Axel or Ice Punch) while still maintaining its Electric and Fire coverage via Elemental Punches
  • Physical Teleport user is also rare, and this one can also use it with Wish.
Mega being Revolved: Altaria
New Pokémon Name: Cloutitude [cloud + altitude]
Stats: 85 / 105 / 85 / 85 / 85 / 95 [540 BST]
Typing: Dragon / Fairy
Abilities: Natural Cure | Pixilate
Movepool Additions: Quick Attack
Niche: Quick Attack with Pixilate is Fairy-type priority, which is an exclusive trait. Has fun with this and Dragon Dance. [Edit: bye fluffy]

Mega being Revolved: Mawile
New Pokémon Name: Mawile-2 [idk you got me there]
Stats: 65 / 55 / 90 / 95 / 95 / 60 [460 BST]
Typing: Steel / Fairy
Abilities: Huge Power / Intimidate | Sheer Force
Movepool Additions: Moonblast, Energy Ball, Nasty Plot
Niche: Okay so there's the very obvious Huge Power set, but I found out Mawile actually gets lots of special coverage as well (Fire Blast, Ice Beam, Focus Blast), and it gets Sheer Force. So now it can play like Nidoking, giving it a lot of coverage, and it gets a boosting move to compensate for its lower speed (and to make this option more viable).

Congrats to Revenge of Depressed Gay, Mygavolt, G-Luke, and Ludicrousity for winning the last slate.

I am weirdly inspired this time since this was the easiest slate for me by far yet despite them all having to be Fairy...and seeing Ema Skye had similar ideas barely 20 minutes before I posted--figures. Oh well, I'm done anyway barring any slight adjustments on Mawile-Mega and maybe even Altaria-Mega.

Speaking of which, Ema Skye, Altaria-Mega's replacement can only have two abilities; you have to pick between Pixelate and something else.

Mega being Revolved: Gardevoir-Mega
New Pokémon Name: Gracefuld ("graceful" + "fold")
Stats: 70 HP / 55 Atk / 78 Def / 130 SpA / 125 SpD / 100 Spe
Typing:
/

Abilities: Pixilate / Trace / Queenly Majesty (hidden ability)
Movepool Additions: Burning Jealousy, Rapid Spin, U-Turn
Niche: I've made it well known how much I despise pivoting moves in most circumstances, but I figure that here it would make sense to give it more here while also making Revolved Gardevoir-Mega significantly faster. After all, it would need something to else to separate it from not only Tapu Lele, but also the fact that we still have at least three Mega pokemon to revolve that will definitely end up being Psychic. So U-Turn and Rapid Spin should be fine off of Gracefuld's even lower Attack stat I hope.

Mega being Revolved: Altaria-Mega
New Pokémon Name: Qumuloblu ("cumulus" + "blue"; I'd spell with a "c", but...you know)
Stats: 80 HP / 90 Atk / 95 Def / 75 SpA / 110 SpD / 90 Spe
Typing:
/

Abilities: Pixilate / Cloud Nine (hidden ability) [EDIT #1: Used to have Fluffy before Gyltia's post made me realize how much it would screw over the already previously underwhelming Ramjestic]
Movepool Additions: Calm Mind [EDIT #1: This can now safely have Calm Mind.]
Niche: El Cadaver's version of Sableye-Mega made me finally realize I haven't really been taking previous Revolved Megas into account as far as niche goes beyond trying to not copy them. More importantly, I haven't been taking them into account as far as building checks to them that might be necessary. Given it seems like we still really need a check to Kylario, this is meant to be that for at least the physical Kylario sets when it uses Fluffy even if it's ultimately only "neutral" to physical Steel attacks. Otherwise, it's a rather bulky Dragon Dancer like its actual Mega form without hitting nearly as hard on either side initially, especially physically. (I'm a bit tempted to give it Calm Mind and only that, but even that alone seems obnoxious with Fluffy.) Due to Gyltia's post changing my mind about Fluffy on this and Ema Skye already doing Fluffy anyway, I have decided to go with my fourth choice of just keeping Cloud Nine so we have a safe-ish answer to all weathers as well as support Sand and Hail without taking additional damage, especially since my other two ideas would just set on the Lati-twins and likely be underwhelming respectively. Either way, Qumuloblu gets to have Calm Mind now.

Mega being Revolved: Mawile-Mega
New Pokémon Name: Halonosis ("halitosis" + "halo" + "no")
Stats: 70 HP / 55 Atk / 110 Def / 100 SpA / 70 SpD / 55 Spe [EDIT #2: Previously had 75 HP and 95 SpA]
Typing:
/

Abilities: Huge Power / Intimidate / Neutralizing Gas (hidden ability)
Movepool Additions: Dazzling Gleam, Earth Power, Gastro Acid, Giga Drain, Moonblast, Mystical Fire, Parting Shot, Power Gem, Psychic, Thunderbolt, Thunder [EDIT #2: No longer has Drain Punch since it mainly had that for when it had Intimidate...meaning it would be even more problematic since its Atk is horrible without Huge Power. So it goes and Halonosis gets Giga Drain instead despite already having Draining Kiss.]
Niche: Gods, Mawile is such a weird mon with such a weird special movepool. I was originally going to have its niche be "Steel type Sheer Force user" since I only felt comfortable lowering its Attack to make sure Huge Power wasn't busted with Choice Band and yet still be far more powerful than Azumarill and almost as strong as Diggersby even after losing 30 base Atk. However, even if the Sheer Force Steelx-Megas lost, we still have Humpeii, so I quickly decided on a far more unique niche: a mon that can prey on Regenerator mons when not using Huge Power (or Intimidate). At least in theory it can do so with all of the special additions to its movepool able to hit every Regenerator mon super effectively for at least some damage and chip away at them, even if it still loses to Tornadus-Therian probably. Sad times. At least this seems like another instance where a pivoting move wouldn't be overpowering, though I went with Parting Shot over Volt Switch for a reason. (I am rather reluctant about Drain Punch, and it may well be too much even with such lowered Attack.)

Mega being Revolved: Gardevoir
New Pokemon Name: Gardiennesis (Gardienne + Kinesis)
Stats: 78/75/75/125/115/90 [BST:558]
Typing: Psychic / Fairy
Abilities: Trace / Forewarn | Pixilate
Movepool Addition: -
Niche: So I think you can run something like Choice Scarf with it. Dancer can be used to copy Quiver Dance to boost up its special and speed stat. Trace can be used to check the ability opposing pokemon has. Forewarn can be used to check a move. Pixilate is obviously pair with the already existed Hyper Voice/Beam.

:ss/altaria-mega:
Mega being Revolved: Altaria
New Pokemon Name: Cloufoul (Cloud + Foul)
Stats: 85/70/110/80/105/90 [BST:540]
Typing: Dragon / Fairy
Abilities: Pixilate | Cloud Nine
Movepool Additions: Dark Pulse, False Surrender, Foul Play, Nasty Plot
Niche: Able to run Nasty Plot sweeper set. Able to run Dragon Dance sweeper set too. Any of its abilities can make usage even if they are unnecessary, they aren't completely useless. Pixilate can be used to turn Giga Impact/Hyper Beam to fairy type and boost them even more. Cloud Nine already have obvious reason for them.

:ss/mawile-mega:
Pokemon being Revolve: Mawile
New Pokemon Name: Jawallow (Jaw + Swallow)
Stats: 90/55/75/115/75/50 [BST:460]
Typing: Steel / Fairy
Abilities: Huge Power / Intimidate | Steelworker
Movepool Additions: Moonblast, Nasty Plot, Power Gem
Niche: Physical is still usable. Special is now usable too. Buy physical is only viable due to Huge Power, while special is always viable with any ability. can even run mixed. Steelworker for more STAB steel type damage which is always good to have. Intimidate is here because it is always good to just check any physical attacker.

And since I am not good at writing niche at all, I'm sorry for that. And if you have any suggestion, you can tell me about them.

Edit1: Delete Natural Cure from Cloufoul because it could have only 2 abilities and I just remember about it.
Edit2: Gardiennix > Gardiennesis. Nothing connected to Fire type and moves anymore, so turn back to Psychic / Fairy type and remove all movepool additions.
Soulwallow > Jawallow. Nothing connected to Ghost type anymore, so turn back to Steel / Fairy type and remove Psyshock and Shadow Sneak from movepool additions.
Edit3: +5 HP, +10 Attack, -10 Defense, -5 Special Defense to Jawallow.

Congrats to the winners!

Mega being Revolved: Mega Altaria
New Pokémon Name: Baritaria (Baritone + Aria)
Stats: 75 / 100 / 95 / 60 / 130 / 80 (540 BST)
Typing:

Abilities: Natural Cure / Pixilate
Movepool Additions: N/A
Niche: I opted against giving this Fluffy despite the obvious flavor argument, because it would simply outclass Ramjestic in every way. Instead, I tried to make this into a bulky Dragon Dancer, much like Zygarde, who probably only uses one attack (pixilate Body Slam or Double-Edge, your call). I replicated Zygarde’s bulk but made it SpDef instead, while not moving the HP, because Altaria has naturally high SpDef. Doesn't have Glare or a STAB as spammable as Tarrows, but makes up for it thanks to its access to recovery, defog, and overall good utility.

Mega being Revolved: Mega Gardevoir
New Pokémon Name: Keepixie (keeper + pixie)
Stats: 68 / 95 / 70 / 100 / 70 / 135 (538 BST)
Typing:

Abilities: Trace / Synchronize / Pixilate
Movepool Additions: Rapid Spin
Niche: It took me a while to figure out what could make Mega Gardevoir stand out when there are already so many good defensive and offensive Fairy types out there. I the end, I tried to make this an anti-lead. Gardevoir already has a crazy support movepool, which includes Taunt, Encore, Wow, Twave, Memento, Knock Off, and Magic Coat amongst others; adding Rapid Spin to that list makes it the perfect pokemon to scare off offensive leads who like to set up their hazards and spam attacks till they die. Keepixie counters this totally by having a very fast Taunt, and the ability to Misty explode on their face to keep momentum (extra threatening if you or your opponent plays Tapu Fini).

I didn't have any idea that hadn't been already subbed for the other two, but I might come back and edit this.

First time trying this out, let's go
:xy/gardevoir-mega:
Mega being Revolved: Gardevoir
New Pokémon Name: Auriess (Aura + Princess)
Stats: 88 (+20) / 50 (-15) / 95 (+30) / 125 / 130 (+15) / 60 (-20) (548 BST)
Typing: Psychic / Fairy
Abilities: Pixilate / Trace / Analytic
Movepool Additions: Recover
Niche: Let me be honest with you, I feel like a Gardevoir that tries to go down a pure offensive route will find itself severely outclassed by Tapu Lele no matter how hard we try to optimize it. So I went for a bulkier approach that also would still have a decent offensive presence.

EDIT - Modified stat spread back to the original one that was posted in the Mega Revolution Discord, also added an actual description too.

Stats: 78 / 65 / 70 / 125 / 120 / 100 (558 BST)
Typing: Ghost/Fairy
Abilities: Cursed Body / Trace / Pixilate
Movepool Additions: N/A
Niche: Yeah I honestly do not care at all for mega gardevoir like at all. I always found the design to be a bit much and play into it as like the "waifu mon" by giving it a bridal dress, so fuck it let me play around with that. Gardevoir looks like a ghost and with the mega having a bridal dress why not have it be like a ghost of a widow or something. Anyway down to the dirt with this thing. Really it's mainly gonna be a scarfer or a calm mind set up sweeper. While it does change type honestly it doesn't need any movepool editions since it already knows shadow ball. Have fun with this I guess.

Mega being Revolved: Mega Gardevoir
New Pokémon Name: Gardame (Garde + Madame)
Stats: 88 | 75 | 75 | 135 | 115 | 70 (558)
Typing:

Abilities: Synchronize | Pixilate | Trace (HA)
Movepool Additions: Bulk Up, Play Rough, Moonlight
Niche: Gardame serves as a bit of a versatile mon. It has good bulk and good coverage with decent set-up options. Psychic/Fairy is a great typing defensively and offensively since it doesn't need many coverage moves to hit everything super effectively.

Mega being Revolved: Mega Altaria
New Pokémon Name: Altixi (Altus + Pixi)
Stats: 90 | 90 | 90 | 90 | 105 | 65 (530)
Typing:

Abilities: Pixilate | Natural Cure (HA)
Movepool Additions: Brave Bird, Dual Wingbeat, Hurricane
Niche: This one is a bit boring, but like Gardame it has good bulk and good typing. With Natural Cure it has a good defensive role and with Pixilate it has good offensive potential.

Mega being Revolved: Mega Mawile
