SPOILERS! Pokemon Legends: Arceus *Leak Thread*

From the text files it seems hinted at that the reason Enamorus isn't found in the present is indeed because it's been caught in the past and has [presumably] disappeared from the timeline. Good guess whoever that was earlier in thread, but this doesn't explain how the other genies are present.

Yeah, no, it's not comparable to Blacephalon at all. If it keeps Typhlosion's movepool it should get Focus Blast which would be something, but at best this is low UU-RUBL.

What was the Qwilfish allusion?
I mean I never said it would be better than Blacephalon. I doubt it would be. I think it would be more on the level of Chandelure. And hell even getting to low uu/rubl would be a major step up for Typhlosion in general and pretty decent for most starters. Let's remember the number of OU starters is pretty slim and is usually predicated on some kind of absurd ability (ie. Grassy Surge Rillaboom, Protean Greninja, Speed Boost Blaziken, Contrary Serperior)

The exception being the big boss Swampert.

Apparently it was just confirmed that something from the 1996 Red and Green guidebook is still canon. Pokemon shrink themselves down to fit in Pokeballs, it's only in the anime where they turn into energy.
Now that I think about it, that is exactly how they show it in the games, it just happens really fast
I suppose the fainting animation for wild Pokémon where they simply shrink (presumably to evade further attacks or capture) is also what’s actually happening rather than a stylistic choice?

As far as I know, other legends aren't usually caught, just fought.

Interesting to note that the Pokédex calls Tornadus’s Incarnate Form as False, while it’s Therian Form is considered true. In BW2, when obtaining the Reveal Glass, the man says that he is unsure which form is the true form.

I was thinking about that too. Then again, these entries seem to be written from Professor Laventon’s perspective, so I guess it’s still a subjective opinion.

(As an aside, the entries for Rotom’s appliance forms are pretty funny on account of this.)

Something that just came to mind as of late...but it's something worth talking about.

I know that the "storage system" for Pokemon in this game is a special ranch, but do we know if we have the ability to access it at any time, and anywhere? Ie something like a Box Link where you can easily access your Pokemon storage at any time and place, like in some of the previous Pokemon games since LGPE? That seems to have been a recurring feature as of late, but the technology difference in this game's era compared to modern Pokeworld raises this question: the PC is an obvious form of storage for Pokemon and so accessing it at any time works because of PC tech, but in this game all mons you "store" are just hanging at a ranch somewhere and it's questionable if the tech is favorable to allow you to pull a mon out from there and swap your team at any time and place.

It's something worth bringing up: basically I'm talking about a potential equivalent to the Box Link that has been around in basically every Switch Pokemon game thus far, considering the era this game is set in and the difference in tech it's definitely in question here.

Honestly, I haven't seen any reports on it, but you can change mons on base camps. I wouldn't expect a box link.

Why are Dialga and Palkia forms so trash? It makes 0 sense.

Stat redistribution is great for Pokémon that were different (not necessarilty stronger) in the past, but Dialga and Palkia, along with the lake trio, were Arceus direct creations. It makes 0 sense for them to weaken over time, but even if you accept that, all logical conclusion points to them being substantially stronger the closer you are to their origin. Palkia is a bit faster after losing some atk. I think and Dialga gained like 20 SpD or smt like that wut? They fall behind every mega/primal/fused form i've seen til this point.

They do actually have the same BST as their regular formes, but arranged slightly more offensively. That part's consistent with Giratina-Origin, though giratina does also change abilities.
