NOC Bigvivor Mafia Game Thread Day 5

also US defended m2h in that same post, but then m2h's recent posts

considering it's a game with a lot of new players, feels townish so i think more likely it's US scum & attempting to sway m2h by expressing dislike of the previous m2h push (which, from what i saw, wasn't even that strong of a push). not clearing m2h or anything, more arguing US is just scum here

vote UncleSam

and curious to hear Nuxl Spiderz thoughts on this ^

Ftr again I don’t think people should claim unless they have a for sure guilty anyway

Sam isn’t the only one defending M2H (Laurel did too), and from his posts I think he pushed Texas even before pressure anyway so I’m unsure why you’re fixating on Sam. I don’t really have any strong thoughts other than “Sams approach to this game confuses me”

Do you have a take on Laurel doing something similar, but instead after Texas pushed M2H in conflict? Clouds

it’s also possible mafia not being able to communicate a double NK impacted the groups’ take which is important if we can assume what scum people would expect to happen

Actually on thinking about this there’s also the possibility that the tribe split is some like, limited action mafia role so never mind

I feel like mafia never uses this last night if it’s an action though? Unless they’re granted a second kill when they use the action but in that case I’m p sure they always use it N1

This feels scummy bc voting Sam is the obvious thing to happen after this nightkill. Clouds was in the group with Haruno and could have killed them in order to try and vote Sam.

can you explain how this is the "obvious" vote, figure it's a logical one but is there some additional reason for an expectation that US would've been a vote today

laurel hasn't posted much that makes me think he's town all game except for a brief series of messages d2, so yeah this isn't great either, but i saw someone back on d1 talk about how in the past they'd misread laurel as scum many times and i can see him being an easy vote push by scum only to wind up flipping town

im mainly just curious if you see a similar agenda in his posts since idt him and Sam have been doing explicitly different things when it came to the dichotomy yesterday

also kind of curious how you got to town on M2H when you called him neutral last time you had a read on him

Because Haruno’s flip makes Sam’s opposition to Texas (and kind of Haruno) look really bad, and Haruno is a fairly illogical kill target outside of that.

I acc don’t really want to vote Sam today for that reason, bc scum almost never makes this kill in the heat of the argument between those factions if Sam is on their team. Ofc this can be what they want us to think and it’s ultimately WIFOMy, but I find it unlikely they try to reverse psychology here

yes except US's feels more calculated and aimed with a purpose than laurel's, neither look good
also i'm not calling town m2h just pointing out a post that felt town/was more supplemental for the US read

if texas is flare i think it most likely means theyre a t/t pair since, from what i can tell, this doesn't feel like a scum role? especially since i assume now that texas inherits harunos ability and can double target.

i do wanna say this does confirm texas, at least as harunos partner. initially i felt like the haruno kill could be to prevent them from being able to actually confirm texas with their ability, but i believe texas still mentioned harunos role name (alimdia) before it was ever brought up? ill scour through a bit real quick to double check that

I don’t think it’s sensible to treat Texas as confirmed. In all likelihood Texas is town, yes, but he’s not CONFIRMED town. I believe you’re correct he said Alimdia unprompted yesterday tho

If I had designed this game I would have told them they were both town though. On the other hand, redirector is a v limited utility role for scum.
