yeah sure

there's not much to explain other than that tommy tossed us in a smogon chat and said "hi, you're buddied", and now we're speaking on discord. i asked him about spiderz because of the lack of celever/spiderz interaction apart from a strange tr of spiderz by celever d1 or d2, to which he implied he doesn't feel spiderz is scum still. aside from that, mostly just talking about our opinions on things in the game and how we might've wound up buddied.

we should be pressuring others for reactions to the recent dle development after he was sr'd by many people (among other developments), looking back at voting/push history in the thread knowing the flips we know now, checking interactions between as many users as possible for authenticity, stuff of that nature. and i really think we should be voting one of spiderz or nuxl here, possibly celever but again there's so much pressure on him that it's concerning with there still likely being no fewer than 6 scum in the game (and more 3p) based on this setup

my vote on nuxl is playermeta-ish, or more than i claimed my reads this game would be where i don't know various forum mafia playstyles, but the majority of his pushes have been players i've townread or are strongly indicated to be town based on their role claim (see drookez). also the laurel misflip, which obviously he's far from responsible for, but the post recognizing the wagon feels like something he'd try to say to clear himself from suspicion should the flip succeed. and i think he'd have more accurately pinpointed reads by now just based on his past fm experience which, sure this is a stretch, but it's intermingled with personality reads as well. the one nuxl sr i agreed with was the one on vizh earlier, but i doubt scum nuxl puts that much pressure on new scum vizh, so it's unlikely nuxl/vizh are s/s in my eyes

1) Unfortunately the first issue is beyond my control, so I cannot really defend it. What I would say, however, is do you really think these roles - perhaps not in a power sense, but more of a utility sense - would fit as mafia or third party more than town? I'm trying to argue that these roles can't be mafia because if I was mafia I'd just rotate my target in the faction without claiming. I know the more popular claim rn is that im third party but honestly this is just crazy to me. I've never seen or understand why a third party would have these roles - what do you think my wincon is if you really think im third party? Just to survive? As I said, these roles honestly do not make sense for a role that just wants to survive.

2) I disagree with what you said here. I have scumread Dyo in the past, and currently I'm voting Celever because of our long interaction over the last 10+ pages. I fail to see how this is just coasting with the mentality of anybody other than me. Do you not consider my responses to Celever pressuring?

also Dyo i'm beginning to strongly believe the you/laurel votes were just votes on 2 town, which agrees more with a spiderz/nuxl scum narrative. would you vote spiderz if that vote happened?

You voted Vizh who wasn’t gaining traction which is what I mean by real person. The Laurel wagon wasn’t me saying that for any reason lmao I was fine most of the people on the wagon anyway

Also curious what you think I would be doing as town based on my prior games. Did you read how I played years ago or something? Where every game was a meta shitfest lmao and Hal and I had godreads on each other every time. I think my strength in my town game is getting townread (since I actually historically am a really easy read) meta reads and being able to catch out As*k when they’re scum. It’s been one real day and I was wrong once but u seem to be accrediting it to “I should be way better at this game or something”

Why did you shift from a Spiderz vote to me btw? What made u change that based on your posts earlier today
 
I’m not sure if I should claim or not rn but it might make this eod interesting, since everything’s quite static right now

Maybe I’ll save it until after my midterm or if I get ran up suddenly :toast:
