SS OU CLAWITZER RAIN aka The Devils Aquarium

Hey Showdowners, Pokemon Fanatics? I am a new showdown player and have been having a lot of fun these past few weeks. I tried making my own team, but were just not gonna talk about that. If I team looks familiar, it is because I based mine off Pinkacross's A Powerful Error (PORYGON-Z RAIN), and replaced Porygon-Z and Barraskewda with Clawitzer and Moltres Galarian. If you think this is stupid, it is. But I had alot of fun playing this team and I hope you give it a try. I played probably around 20 matches. Went through trial and errors, and getting tips from OverUsed chat. Again, feel free to give any suggestion to improve my team!

Here is the team: https://pokepast.es/7b78b51fb974d928

Pelipper (M) @ Damp Rock
Ability: Drizzle
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Scald
- Defog
- U-turn
- Roost
Pelipper is the Rain Setter, and the lead if opponent has no other weather setter. Damp Rock is important since this is a Rain team. Bulky build so he can stay alive for a while, and take at least one blow from Dragapult Lead, or Blacephalon.

Clawitzer @ Choice Specs
Ability: Mega Launcher
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
IVs: 0 Atk
- Dark Pulse
- Water Pulse
- Aura Sphere
- Terrain Pulse
Clawitzer is the main win-con for this Rain Team, and the breaker. Shrimpy has a pretty bad base speed so I just took advantage of his base hp and gave him max HP, this can help eat a few hits. Choice Specs help him boost his power, additionally with his ability which gives any pulse moves 1.5x more power. Also apparently aura sphere is also a pulse move so this would make sense. I usually start with Lele before Shrimpy to take advantage of his Terrain Pulse if nessecary.

Moltres-Galar @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Berserk
EVs: 160 HP / 252 SpA / 96 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Taunt
- Hurricane
- Fiery Wrath
- Nasty Plot
After many fails going against Dragapult, I needed a pult switch-in to counter Pult. With the help of @faless I used MoltresG as a pult switch in, because I needed to eat up pult's powerful balls. HVBoots to stop any hazards, and maintain as much HP to tank those big shadow balls. Again, the EVs are for taking as much damage as possible from Dragon types.

Ferrothorn @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 Spe
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Body Press
- Knock Off
- Leech Seed
Ferrothorn is the hazard setter, and I use him to counter Rilla (w/ lele), and weavile. Body press to win the 1v1 against other ferros. Rocky helmet+leech seed+iron barb just makes the world burn when you see your enemy commit seppuku. EVs for tanking physical attacks like rillaboom and weavile.

Tapu Lele @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Psychic Surge
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Thunder
- Moonblast
- Psyshock
- Future Sight
I usually like to lead with Tapu Lele as enemies like to start with garchomp or landorus. Tapu-Lele can also act as a 2ndary win con. Choice Specs to check weaviles, and garchomps. Thunder is great for checking water types, and future sight help pressure bulky teams. I also tried using Focus Blast over future sight to deal with Ferros and Heatrans.

Seismitoad @ Choice Specs
Ability: Swift Swim
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Weather Ball
- Earth Power
- Icy Wind
- Grass Knot
Seismitoad is a Electric immunity for the team, and help set in for Clawitzer. Choice Specs for maximum power, Icy Wind to counter dragons like dragonites and garchomps. Grass Knot to help deal with Sand Hippo and Green Godzilla. Timid so he can outspeed things like kartanas and blacephalon.

Alright thats about it for this team, thanks Pinkacross for the inspo, I know it isnt great but Im just having fun. Leave any suggestions down below, and have a great day everyone!

Ah, I'm glad you enjoy my teams. I tested your Clawitzer team on ladder, it did pretty well and it was super fun. Spamming Water Pulse is a blast especially with that super high confusion chance. It can even get past Blissey! Nice creative application of an almost never seen pokemon.
am i dreaming right now

I'd recommend adding the pokepaste link. Also, you can find moving sprites at https://play.pokemonshowdown.com/sprites/ani/
Wait, you take the moving sprites from the website? I just type ':ss/pokemon:' - you can type 'ss/Heatran' for Heatran, or 'ss/Ferrothorn' for Ferrothorn, just put it in between some colons, like this: ':ss/Pokemon:'

:ss/Heatran:
:ss/Ferrothorn:

You can also use ":bw/Pokemon:" for older sprites, so like:

:bw/Heatran:
:bw/Ferrothorn:

This way, you can just easily add a GIF without visiting Showdown.
Highlight the gifs above, then copy and paste. You'll see what I mean. It'll come out as text.

Also, if you don't type 'ss', 'dp', 'bw', or other gens before the Pokemon's name, and just type it as ':Pokemon:' - it'll end up like this:

:Heatran:
:Ferrothorn:

It also works for items, too, just use ':Item:'.

:Leftovers:
:Choice Band:
:Choice Specs:

Did i just teach Pinkacross how to use sprites...?

I didn't know this worked! I personally set up all my RMTs on a separate document and then copy paste over to Smogon (as I find it a bit easier to work with and less prone to accidental deletion) so I likely won't use this often, but this will save me time when I make metagame posts and rate teams. I'll make sure to let people know about this next time someone asks me about RMT creation. Thank you for the info! :)
