NOC 2d3 Mafia - Postgame (Mafia Win)

interesting that Tommy is still hosting his mafia skillshare class in an all-vet game

I sorta thought the mafia advice was because the last two games were newbie-focused into newbie-friendly

it doesn't help is to try apply stuff that doesn't work tbf!

helping town solve effectively and not shoehorn itself, is good regardless of how experienced the game is.

that being said, I think I am not the best with reads D1 but knowing your limitations and what is not going to get you a read reliably is always a good start to playing town (imo).

town sweep power : )
and the realization that
you missed the point of that whole post

you've not seen them play mafia so you have no idea what on that game is part of their town game consistently over time

everyone plays every game differently even town Vs town from one game to another, example wha caffeine did is bad meta

yes I am town again, but saying I'm consistent with last game, of course I am, I'm the same person. everyone is going to have some things the same and some different regardless of alignment. caffeine doesn't know if me saying meta is "bad" is just a tommy thing or if it's a town Tommy thing specifically. it's just the truth and it's something I would say as either alignment so it proved my point. one isolated town game means nothing it's just a huge reach.
okay, you;ve given me two paths to take here.

one, I deflate and flounder like my D1s of yore

two, I start asking for MU databases because I can't be the only one here who played a game in 2021, right?

I mean OK this is valid it's just interesting to see game theory cotinuously invoked, not what I'm used to I guess

Unvote as well

I'll save you the work and let you know that's been a long time for me, probably ~4 years since any kind of serious NOC play on any site. On other sites I tend to go by Ghostwheel though. But back then I had a lot less going on and mafia was bigger escape for me, I'd get more obsessed.

is this our first time playing together? I think so

Where I'm at rn:

Town Read:
Panic Station - The attempts to ISO Bigvivor say to me that PS is trying to get reads on people this game. Probably safe to towncore for now.

Town Lean:
Laurel - Seems like bog standard Laurel. Didn't take my bait, VT thing can be explained as either town!Laurel or scum!Laurel. Very hesitant to towncore since there are definitely issues.

People I should have some read on by now but don't:
Celever, Duskfall... maybe Blazade idk

Noposters:
Apricity, BGB, Haruno
