It was a fun little battle. He made a few mistakes but still it was a great way to test out a new team before I build it for wi-fi. It wasn't really a close battle but I made some good calls so I think it was good on my part.

Well... the battle was short, you both made stupid mistakes, and your commentary was a little. Honestly, this just wasn't a battle worth Warstorying.

Also, there is no real excuse to leave Aggron in against Tentacruel when you have Poliwrath available to Water Absorb.

Why did you let your Aggron take a hit from surf?

Why did he not send out Tangrowth to KO Poliwrath in the first place?

Like everyone said there were way to many mistakes.

A good warstory usually contains...

1. Good prediction from both trainers.
2. A battle between 2 people who have about the same amount of skill.
3. A close battle.
4. Some kind of sudden, unexpected or unusual twist.

I can list a lot more, but that would be wasting my time.

Borrrinnnggg...
What smogon wants are suspenseful warstories that leave us hanging, not stuff like this. 10 Turns of predictable play with no twists and many mistakes is not a warstory. I'd say that this is more of a slaughterstory, and we sure get enough of those.

The match was too short for my liking. 1 turn in that game where no Pokemon fainted, yeah...

Warstorys need an actualy story to them, to make them interesting.

I am sure you have already, but check some of these in this sub-forum: http://www.smogon.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=57

They're well presented, well written, and they keep you reading (the majority anyway). Some stories that are added to them make them far more inspiring to read, some over and over again.

No offense, but I could've made this in 5 minutes. You seem to have written 11 sentences of actual commentary. That alone should tell you something.

Not only was this boring, but it makes me believe that you really don't care about making warstories. Honestly, you can't just pick random battles that are terribly played and put next to zero commentary in it and expect people to have sympathy for you just because you posted it.

I swear, these kinds of warstories are making people brush off reading warstories more and more, which means that people are more likely to just brush off potentially good warstories, which in my mind, is really unfair to those who actually try.

Last time you posted a warstory, you had NO commentary in it. You basically did the same thing this time, except it was a much worse battle, way too short, no war, no nothing.

Sorry, but I have to be completely blunt here, if I were to title this as an actual story, it would be called "Baby's first picture book".

I'm honestly not impressed at all, and if you thought this was a comedy, it really wasn't, because if I was watching this, I wouldn't be laughing with you, but heh, I'd be laughing AT you.

Next time you decide to make a warstory, think a little please.
