After 4 weeks and 32 people qualifying, we've reached the playoffs phase of the NDLT! As a reminder, seeding was done with ELO being the main factor, and tiebreakers being settled by week qualified and then a Best-of-3 series if the tie occurred in the same week. Here are the current seeds:

  • Best of three, single elimination.
  • This tournament will use the standard National Dex ban list, which can be found here.
  • If metagame changes occur during the middle of a round, they will take effect in the subsequent round.
  • Battles must take place on Pokemon Showdown! or the SmogTours server
  • Sw/Sh cartridge win conditions are in place; there are no ties.
  • A list of National Dex specific mechanics can be found here.

(ryuji vs nvk) vs weaselfie - Think ryuji got both players. His creative and innovative builds gives him the upper hand he needs to keep pushing through. Having said that, both players will certainly give him a tough time and wont be a cakewalk.
maxouille vs Yama
Chris vs Bacon - despite his previous inactive ndou tour presence bacon will always be one of the top builders / players on the scene, and has shown this in his games so far. Both players are among the top ranks of Natdex and will definitely be a gg to watch.
kDCA vs crying - My personal favorite to win. kDCA is the bringer of light in Natdex’s time of need. I predict kDCA to plow through all darkness and evil with the power of sunlight and friendship.

underdog time + yama told me to kms. i expect max to finish in fashion.

2 australians... hows this happened. regardless 2 extremely strong players in their own rights. i do see bacon turning assassin mode turn 536. this'll be the best series of this round
