Am I the only one here amazed at how fluid the game runs!? It looks absolutely amazing in those "Iwata interviews" videos.

And wow, this update helps puts into perspective just how huge this game really is.

I wouldn't say no one cares about SMRPG... I mean the game was one of the best selling games for the SNES despite the system being dead at the time :/ . Personally I'd love to see something from SMRPG in the game, but if that doesn't happen it wont bother me any.
I agree that people are taking it wayyyyy too far though. Brawl Central in particular is really bad at that >_____>. People need to stop focusing on certain characters making it and focus on how freaking awesome this game is.

As long as the stickers allow for individual choice I'll be happy.
If there's one certain set-up for each character that makes all others redundant, I don't see the point in it, really.

Well I meant nobody really cared for Geno very much, up until Brawl where everyone started clamoring all over him. <_<

Interesting what Sakurai said in the recent Iwata Asks about ATs. He commented how not all characters could be implemented as fighters (Referring to Animal Crossing and Nintendogs). I wonder if this means no AC rep? Not like there are very many characters left to choose from, since they all appear in Smashville. Excluding Gulliver... ? But yeah, even if he is awesome and the same guy who talked about Jiggly / Falco / Ridley mentioned him somehow, his chances are pretty poor.

In other news, Jeff looks like a pretty awesome AT actually. And the 'Manhole' sticker... Finally all series' from Melee have been touched upon? Here's to hoping Game and Watch is still playable!

EDIT: Hey guys, look! The leaker posted another video! Revealing absolutely nothing! ... Again...

Just to expand on this, it seems to me that swimming is definitely in Subspace Emissary. I don't think I can say its 100% guaranteed or whatever but I'm pretty sure. Look at this video:

At :38-:40, a sticker is being applied that says Swim Time +20, and stickers can only be used for SSE so swimming probably has a part in it.
 
Did we even find anything new from today's update? I think I already knew everything from today just by being in this thread and from past updates...

3 more days...^^
 
How can any of you be against Geno being in the game? I hope every copy of Brawl you attempt to play explodes spontaneously Wishy, because Super Mario RPG is so beautifulllllll and Geno is way better than, for example, Yoshi or Toad or Diddy Kong for other 'Mario' sort of characters that are popular (or certainly clones like Luigi and Waluigi and Wario)

Finally! Something we can fucking agree on. I actually played Super Mario RPG and it was fantastic. I can't wait till I can download it on the Virtual Console. I wont care that much if Geno isn't in it, but it would be cool to have him.
 
Don't listen to him he hates Pikmin!

Yoshi, Toad, and Diddy Kong kick ass. If you ever played Luigi you would also know that he is amazing and not a stupid clone like pichu. As for Waluigi and Wario they both always kind of sucked.
 
I also hate Pikmin... it was annoying, and pretty gay.

Diddy Kong does look cool though. It seems like he will be an amazing comboer.
 
The whole game takes 128 blocks? Looks like I will need to invest in a memory card...

I might also have to buy a new Wifi USB.... I can't find my old one.


how much will the two approx. cost?
 
Get a real router.

2GB SD card should be $20 max.

Havok engine was announced a really really long time ago Sonuis >.>
 
Uh, yeah, then you aren't going to need a wifi USB adapter.

I don't have a Wii so I don't entirely understand the save thing. Is there 128 blocks available on the system already, or will I need some sort of card?

And somebody explain why Havok is surprising.
 
You know, I don't like the people that freak out over Geno and other potential characters in the game (Sonic before his revelation, etc)

but what i, personally, dislike even more is the people that would not like a character to be in simply because of those crazed fans. like honestly, how could it be a bad thing if someone got in?

What does # blocks actually mean on a Wii? I could understand it on a gamecube, which actually used memory cards, but how many blocks does a Wii have available?
 
For those wondering how to choose which pokemon to begin with as PT; this user ITP123(he goes everyday to check the demo i think) has uploaded a video about it on youtube check it out.

Btw iirc the number of blocks for the wii is 2163 blocks, but some like me have VC games and some other crap like the channels...
