Super Smash Bros. Brawl Discussion #2 (spoilers)

Lyn, Goroh, and Waluigi are Assist Trophies, Ridley is confirmed as a boss (Like Rayquaza).
Krystal? Well.. I guess she would be an 'ok' addition, but if Wolf indeed makes it in it would seem a bit too heavy on representation for a franchise that (in recent iterations) hasn't been getting as much attention as most of the more iconic nintendo figures. (reverse argument applies if Krystal gets in instead of fox, Starfox64 was the figurehead of the popularity of Starfox, why can't they get some villain representation?)
Isaac, Golden Sun, correct? a game without representation on either of ninty's newest consoles and hasn't had an update since 2002; i enjoyed both games, but sadly any fanboyism for the series won't really result in any potential profit from an old handheld :[
Micaiah, unfortunately, probably not included as a result of FE: Radiant Dawn being in development at the same time as SS:BB, where Ike is represented in both FE games, Michaiah is/was unfortunately "too new" to be implemented into Brawl.
Claus (or Klaus?) enough twins with slightly changed aesthetics, they can mostly be covered as costumes, c_c no more clones plz. (Mario and Luigi are not clones, Mario and Dr. Mario, for all extents and purposes other than slight variations on moves WERE)
K.Rool, okay, i'll give you K.Rool, but personally i'd have rather seen Dixie Kong in before K. Rool, the whole "lizard king" angle is pretty old shoe for Nintendo. Down with lizard-tyrant-specie-ism! =P
Megaman, sadly another wasted opportunity, Sakurai would probably have been urged to use the Megaman ZX depictions (as well as Zero ZX) that correspond with the Megaman ZX DS series.
Bomberman, uh, :\ i dunno, i personally think he would look a little out of whack in a fighter with 19+ moves per character, what does bomberman do other than bomb? oh right, not much of anything >_>; try to make a bomberman moveset without using the word "bomb" more than 5 times, you'll find it incredibly taxing on your soul.
-although i do admit the awkwardness of the possibility of seeing bomberman use a bob-omb is fairly entertaining-
Knuckles--- gahhh, i would really like him but the very fact that including him would lead to a slippery slope fallacy for the Sonic enthusiasts just bothers me, people would be in outcry (ex: Why is Knuckles in and Tails isn't? Why didn't Shadow make it in? Where's Rouge? Why no Chaos? Where's Amy?)
as soon as you invite more than one of Sonic's "friends" to the party, they all insist on coming :P

Well Rob is special... he has no attacks but he causes your opponent to laugh so hard at you for using him that they end up dieing. This allows you to win by default.
Anyway I want to see some footage regardless of the numerous lives it will cost.

I know! What a waste of a spot! It could have been a much deserving character like Phoenix Wright or something. Even Toad or Toadette deserve it more than the stupid robot! Argh I'm mad. >.<;
I just noticed this now, but isn't it weird how Pit only has one move that involves his bow? o.o;
His whole game revolves around him shooting things with different types of arrows... WW Link, Link, Zelda, and Sheik all have bow attacks, too. And they were making fun of him when they introduced Zelda's FS (used him as a target). POOR PIT! ;-; I hope one of his grabs involves arrows (like mewtwo's shadow ball!)!

That last post was based off me watching the stream of the guy playing through classic as Lucario. The stream sorta gave ind uring the battle, but I could've sworn Falco was either controlling his reflector placement to a greater extent than it could be in melee or that it was coming out slighty more in front of him than usual.

But really now, I'm disappointed that clones are in Brawl. Making a classic villain like Ganondorf into a mere unoriginal rehash of Captain Falcon isn't right.
Sakurai and co hit the nail on the head with game modes; they really did. But they seem oblivious to what the customers want as far as characters go. They really just did their own thing :/ . Hopefully the team behind SSB4 will be a bit more in touch.
That said the roster doesn't really bother me anymore, as this game is going to be unbelievable..... it just could have been better if Sakurai and co had payed more attention to their customer's desires.

Just because he was in one mario kart game doesn't mean he has a right to be in smash. The ROB was never anything special to begin with. Sure, it was sorta cool and off the wall in mkds, but here, there are better things they could have done with the time it took to develop this character. For example... making a character people actually wanted. Why nintendo continues to beat a dead horse I don't know.
Thats where your wrong, any character has the right to be in. If Sakurai wants it in, then he'll do it. Hes just no where near a fan favorite at all. Maybe it's his inclusion in SSE that makes him viable? I don't know really, it's all speculation still. All I have to say is, "You can't think that, Star-thoughts."
