80BP Tera Blast is... OK.
Realistically, it's far from enough for physical Normal-types to offset the loss of Return. Special ones usually have something better or spicier, though I can see them running that instead of, say, Hyper Voice so they can be free to Tera at will.
I do appreciate the idea of it being kinda mid because all mons learn it, so it might as well not be too strong to become the defacto STAB of choice for most mons.
I can't help but wonder though... What if it had the user's Tera-type before triggering Tera though? I low-key miss Hidden Power and TB would have streamlined it so much instead of relying on IVs...
Either way, I like it.
(I lowkey like breeding as something to do while watching a film or something like that lol)
Portable gaming is by design something you do while doing other stuff. Pokemon was designed as a handheld game. You play Pokemon while doing other things.
Wrong. Portable gaming is by design something you do
when you're bored. Just a quick pop of entertainment.
Now, you may find breeding fun and that's perfectly fine. But if you're doing it mindlessly while doing something else like watching a movie, then it's a boring task.
And I'mma keep it 100. Breeding, and any form of RPG grinding are objectively game design flaws. People play games to be entertained. If you're just pushing the stick back and forth while hardly taking glances at the screen and watching movies instead, that means the game failed in its purpose to entertain.
I don't mind breeding existing because I know some of y'all are into that, but honestly, they gotta raise the in-game power level and allow us earlier access to mints, hyper training, and the things that actually allow you to TRAIN your mons. Instead of having to bum rush the game and then having it all locked behind an outrageous amount of grinding so that you can enjoy 20-minute flat battles with no 6v6, ban lists, and a poorly optimized battle engine making things last twice as long as they should.
