Skeledirge is my new favorite Fire starter and it's not even close
The more simplified/rounded pooltoy look of Clodsire, if real, fits in line with the other members of the Wooper family, Johto or otherwise. I actually quite like it. If it keeps Unaware like Quagsire does it'd be interesting to see how it works competitively. Immunity to both Volt Switch and Toxic, plus the ability to remove Toxic Spikes is huge. Unlike the Nidos it'll likely get recovery options too.

Honestly it's not a bad design but it does feel...weird? Like okay so its fire + make up looks like a clown. But the white make up is probably actually meant to reference day of the dead celebrations. And it has a fire bird, which I guses is its own entity? And the croc is the "singer" pokemon but actually its an instrument. Because the bird plays it like one and it makes noises like singing?
There's a lot of concepts at once going on here.
To me the only weird thing is the hair fire thingie, partially because its really weirdly textured. Don't really think its supposed to be a vlown either way

If true, this will truly be the first time I'll pick a fire type starter in a first playthrough (on in general, the only time I chose a fire starter was incineroar in USUM, and that's only because I like the last stage XD).
The design motif makes me think this gen was inspired by hispanic cultuge in general, not just Spain, as this one seems to be a reference to the Dia de los Muertos skulls on a croc... either that, or there's a spanish reference I'm not getting XD
Anyways, I wish ith all my heart it's real, because MY GOD we finally have a proper crocodile (feraligatr is, you guessed it, closer to an aligator, while krookodile is closer to a gavial in terms of skull shape)

Honestly I think Water absorb may still be a more interesting niche... poison/ground with immunity against 2 pivot moves, and ultimately with just weakness to psychic and ground seems very promising.

How the heck are those pictures showing the Pokemon name and category as if those are the biggest Pokedex spreads I've ever seen in my life? That and the barcode in the lower corner are what are convincing me that those pictures are more likely to be fake than real. (I hear collaborations can occur pretty quickly as long as everyone agrees on which fakes to discuss, e.g. the Flash CAP Reverbell which I bet I'm the only one here who knows about it.)
Interested in its Singer capabilities. Not blown away by the designs so far, but I think that's bc I already don't like how the mons look in game tho, so I'll wait for the official artworks.
