It's nice, but I feel like it's going to be quite a bit hard to actually find some meaningful challenge while keeping your experience open world since nothing scales according to your level.
The dex entry notes that it ties up its neck, so I think they were trying to go with a balloon animal theme. I'm not sure it worked though. We don't get the association with balloon->air->Flying because it's already Flying for being a bird, and the most iconic balloon animal shape is canine.
Looking at what I just wrote, the concept would have worked great for a Flying Eeveelution.
Oh i really like the weird aesthetic on these, cant wait to see the snail and fish
I think level scaling should have definitely been in the game, but I also like enough mons that I could legitimately rotate and wouldn't feel bad about it. We have portable PC back, after all.

Been awake for 17h now filling the sheet. Having trouble to write lmao.
It uses its short horns to strike the opponents weak spots, inflicting massive damage.
Not filling anything, but 5:00 AM here and can't go to sleep since more and more leaks keep happening xddd

I feel like the designs this generation have the biggest gulf between "absolute weirdos" and "this is just literally the animal" with little middle ground
that's not a bad thing, to be clear, but it's very funny to see things like Poison Flower and Cleopatra Ostrich next to "literally a flamingo" and "dolphin: the dolphin". Just feels more striking this generation than prior
