SPOILERS! Scarlet & Violet Leaks Thread - Data/Mechanics

Well i'm a bit divided on if the mechanic is there or not.

It was mainly introduced in SwSh because originally Gigamax were only obtainable via raid or giftmons, and so they would have been completely screwed with no way to get egg moves.
In SV however, you don't have this issue as there's a NPC to change Tera type mostly at will, so this isn't exactly a problem.
yknow it’s funny how I spent like 2 years breeding every single breedable mon in SWSH with egg moves and apriballs and yet today is my first time hearing about the egg move transfer mechanic :worrywhirl:

I keep thinking about Palafin. Have we gotten confirmation that the transformation lasts the whole battle once it triggers? If so, that just seems way too strong (at least in singles). My assumption would be that it alternates forms each time it swaps out, which would go the opposite direction of making it Archeops levels of unreliable.

Going to bed, please let me know in DMs if something comes up.
I've gone through all the returning Ground-types and these are their new moves. Ignoring Tera Blast because everything gets it.

A couple comments I didn't see other people make already:
Scorching Sands is nowhere to be seen. Perhaps it's going to be a DLC tutor again.
Camerupt getting Rain Dance is pretty funny.
Jaw Lock wasn't given to Krookodile, as I had predicted it would be.
Palossand got Night Shade and Hex!
Edit: Also, Quagsire got access to a Grass attack, something that only Seismitoad (of the Ground Water Absorbers) had previously

With all of this discussion about Kingambit in OU I just want to show you guys something I found interesting.

View attachment 464588 Fighting/Electric. Stats: 154/140/108/50/68/50.

These calcs are made with new stat changes in effect for both mons. I equipped Choice Band to represent the scenario where bisharp gets the
x1.5 atk boost from having the whole party defeated.

Paradox Hariyama walls both stabs from Kingambit, with some bulk investment can take 3 Low Kicks, has the same base speed as Kingambit, and hits you back extremely hard. Pretty funny huh?

Iron Hands is being glossed over a lot but it looks like it has serious OU staple potential. Huge Melmetal-esque bulk and power, amazing offensive typing, stab drain punch for longevity, and volt switch for pivoting. Amazing offensive movepool too.

still hope for volcarona getting sands? hopefully?
As of now, pretty much all the IoA tutor moves are "missing", with either no pokemon learning them or 2-3 at best.
There is possibility of a tutor either somewhere in the postgame, or coming with the DLCs.
However it's just speculation and I wouldn't hold my breath for it.

Are we going to refer to the paradox mons by their code names or can we just say ancient volcorona
Eh, I think people will use either. I'm still preferring to call them as "paradox X" cause it's easier to remember, but I can see eventually people memorizing the actual paradox name.
