So I resetted only to find out my AR can't be read anymore by my DS. The game alone with the DS works fine, but with the AR, it just won't read it. =/. I had a similar problem around Christmas time and ended up having to do a master reset on it.

1/ With the console powered off, hold A+B.
2/ Power up the console while still holding A+B.
3/ As soon as the Nintendo screen is displayed, before our screen stating this product is not endorsed by Nintendo, press and hold Start and Select while keeping hold of A+B.
4/ Continue to hold these buttons until the Main Action Replay screen is displayed, then release. Your product is reset, and will accept codes once more.

i'm gonna ask a question about one of my favorite pokemon, one that i've been promoting on smogon: mamoswine. this thing's a real beast, esp when choice banded. ice and earth stab is just an abusive type duo. so many things are weak to either ice or earth. it also OHKO's the more fragile pokes on a regular basis, even if it hits neutral. my question revolves around the moveset. this is my CB mamoswine:

adamant, 252 Atk 252 HP

ice shard
earthquake
avalanche
????

my question for you is what i should put in my last slot. i know what the obvious answer is: stone edge, but the more i think about it, the more it feels like a waste.

ice and earth has great coverage and so does rock, but half of it is already covered by the first two. rock is super effective against 2 types which aren't covered by earth and ice: bug and ice. bug itself is a rare type. forretress is a very popular bug type, followed by heracross, yanmega and scizor.

however, look at what stone edge does in these situations. it hits neutral on hera because it's fighting type and neutral on forry and scizor because of steel. it's super effective on yanmega but i have ice for that anyways. how am i really better off with stone edge?

the other popular argument for stone edge is obviously gyarados. rock is super effective on it, ice and earth is not. am i really gonna use mamoswine as a gyara counter though? heck no. mamo's weak against water and every gyara has waterfall on it. stone edge only has 80% accuracy too. not exactly worth using a slot over.

i know i've been rambling on and on in this 'simple question' thread, but my question IS simple. what should i use on the last slot of my CB mamoswine? stick with stone edge for anticipated gyara switch ins? roar? staelth rock? bite even (no crunch)? what say you?

Stick with Stone Edge imo. Swap avalanche for peck if you want the random OHKO on Heracross.
 
sorry, avalanche stays XD. peck over stone edge if anything. man we really are getting desperate aren't we? gimme more on why i should keep stone edge. i sorta feel like i wrote all that just for someone to say 'yeah you're perfectly right. that's why we do it anyways'. :D

i would, but it's choice banded XD. at least things like stealth rock can work as a one-timer. i did try curse swine before btw. maybe it was my inexperience with it, but i liked CB swine a lot better.

[img*][/img] is the normal code, but Smogon doesn't allow you to manually input the code. Look for the IMG Tags in your Signature Edit Screen.

Attack: Gyarados just NW of the beauty salon on the island.
Special Attack: Golduck in the little pond near the beauty salon.
Speed: Fisherman Andrew, just east of the bug forest.
Defense: Geodudes and Onixs.
Special Defense: Go to the swamp, and surf on the water there. You'll find Woopers and Quagsires.
HP: Bidoofs? I dunno, I never ev train for hp.

Why do "some" traded dittos dont pass natures? it holds everstone
 
I have just bought an AR, it's European AR for my European Pearl. But I don't have the clone, check IV and those good codes. And I can not find them anywhere :(.
Anyone that can help me?
 
When you join smogon, you have the option to give the name of the user that told you to, in other words the user that referred you to smogon.

So if someone gives you one of these referrals, as in they say you referred them to smogon, it shows up on your profile.

IIRC...
