i have nothing solid enough to write up a case but this is what i have, i guess

and, for the third time tonight, i will state that i am weirded out by eli's read on psy without wanting to interact with either of the parties involved on this sentiment

yeah, regrettably, mafia is a team game and not a solo game

cassandra would be quite bad at this game

psy can vote whoever and frankly because the jumps from hour to hour are so disparate and unconvincing and hard to follow, it won't matter even when they get a real read and want to cash in on any kind of social equity

this is also a direct subtweet towards schia

between you and me i think that kind of stuff feels quite hard to fake on an alignment jump

maybe it’s me underestimating how good of a player scum psy would be

skippergamez -- Far more content-filled ISO than I previously thought, and overall good vibes. Has been contributing pretty well actually. Gave a premature reads list that really wasn't thought through that well but this is a playstyle quirk Smogon is more anti than other spaces, and especially if we take him at his word that this is the most serious mafia game he's played I don't view that as too indicative. Everything else is good so far.

Townlean Tier:
Eli -- Good vibes, reasonably contributory. Eli is a pro at looking like town, though. Considering a large bulk of his own content is also commentary, don't love his push on me for doing the same thing that much lol.

LS -- Not as confident in this one because I actually think I just like LS' personality and that can def cloud my judgement, but I have found her to be useful in some of the more contentious and heated parts of the thread, attempting to provide some reason to things. Def posting on-meta, too, but I don't put that much stock into meta.

Tommy -- Bottom of townlean. Arguing with Psy is an effective way to accrue towncred at all times, but their other contributions to thread have also just been useful. Tommy is also just a pro at looking like town, though. Eager to see his reads.

Psy Tier:
Psy -- :smogduck::psyangry::psycry::psyglad::psygrump::psytear::psynervous::psysad::psysly::psywoke:

Neutral and Not Here Tier:
AG -- No AI content, really

realiti -- Is literally not here

Hydro -- No AI content, really

JALMONT -- Entirety of content is dissociative game theory stuff. Nothing to particularly read into alignment-wise at this stage.

Scumlean Tier:
apricity -- The skipper vote was really terrible. Threatening to gladiate over a self-admitted level-1 read is directly anti-town, especially one that was already debunked.

master oden -- Post quantity to content quantity ratio is dire. Probably do not gel with their playstyle at all considering Tommy said the crazy amount of defensiveness to a single vote is typical of them, but if they don't want that to happen they need to contribute more.

Maf Tier:
M24 -- Absolutely no progression this game to the extent that it is a negative amount of progression. Tiny content quantity so this is still entirely malleable, but when they have come in and made posts it's been largely irrelevant to threadstate (meaning they won't get picked up on it) and the vote following Hal is just, bizarre. Really needed to provide reasoning there one way or the other.

lmao i've talked for an hour, said nothing of substance, but the two things i somewhat feel comfortable saying about m24/oj are here in cel's readslist and eli is voting them as well

Like legitimately what if the most helpful thing I can do this game is just to YOLO a gladiate into tommy

or maybe threaten to do so, so Tommy has to use his role before an ideal time

but somehow Tommy seems reasonable and bridge-building and that’s I guess just not what I associate with his town game

kinda feels like there’s definitely a scum is in the bigger name players with the general lack of cohesion and sidelining going on

honestly it’s a little exciting but probably not gonna be easy

I agree but also feel like it's important to specify where you draw the line for bigger name player here

In a game where I feel really lost it may be +EV to stitch myself onto a BPV
For example, perhaps we could ask Tommy to leave BPV on Eli and put poisoner on the person who we are lynching today

this is not an explicit townread on eli

this is just saying, this feels like a +EV bet that we could make

ftr I had a bigger response to this but im just deciding not to post it until I do a reread to get my head clear. Here’s a condensed version

-Tommy’s iso is like bunk
-idk how hal would adapt after his last scum game - it could be this all things considered but maybe he actually is fucking rusty!
-jalmonts talk about mech isn’t meta indicative but it’s understandable considering iirc he’s mentioned not being a fan of d1 s in the past

u/realiti/psy would also be here, but im not married in considering worlds. Just think there’s a general lack of cohesion between people that should be town in here but idk if that’s cos people are being omega cautious or not because of high opinion thoughts of town/scum games or watevs
