DO NOT GIVE HAL THE BPV. WHAT HAS HE GENUINELY DONE THAT IS CONVINCING YOU. HE CAN EASILY FAKE A SCUMREAD ON YOU WHICH TBH HE BARELY EVEN SCUMREAD YOU AND HAS HAD ZERO COMMITMENT TO ANY OF HIS READS THIS GAME THUS FAR SO THATS IN NOWHERE EVEN CLOSE TO A VALID REASON TO TOWNREAD HIM AND DEFINITELY NOT TO GIVE HIM A ROLE WITH THE INTENT FOR HIM TO CARRY TOWN??? CARRY US WHERE INTO A DITCH?

please. you know i was correct last time about hal too. youre saying hal was obvious but you also have to consider that you RANDED that game and you KNEW hal was mafia from the start and had tmi to be able to read him with. you werent in that game and theres no telling on whether or not you truly would have caught him if you were or if he wouldve played you like he did everyone else in that game. i feel like youre letting your idealization of hal being obvious to you as a HOST get in the way of you properly reading him this game and i strongly STRONGLY urge you to reconsider your read of him

either that or youre scum pocketing him or buddying him

to go back to this, i would recommend checking out a post from jalmont im not finding it rn but he basically explains that poisoner is like super dangerous because it can secretly end the game idk i didnt necessarily understand it perfectly because bleh mechanics but it seems like the common issue between the doublevoter and the poisoner is that they reduce our amount of time to solve the game and gain information if held by mafia. that is dangerous
 
also both of these players are unblockable like its very important for everyone to remember that realiti cannot be redirected so idk how to deal with that. and also remember that caff just notified us that players are not informed that they are poisoned so like thats bad for us
 
i townread oj and realiti is the thing im kinda struggling with but iirc hal is also in jalmonts pool? if hes not then he should be anyway so im voting there because i think hes mafia, and i like tommy a little better but im open to voting him out too
 
the m24 wagon sucks. i strongly urge everyone on that to unvote. m24 is a good poster and when he finds the time he will come into thread and become very easy to find as town. if this keeps up then maybe we can consider that path but it shouldnt be an option at this point in the phase and our top wagon certainly shouldnt be an nai lowposter with a strong role if town
 
Yeah if anything, my role is probably one of the best town ones, can save high-value roles and potentially kill maf as well.

Voting skipperz wasn't really about following hal at all, I just heard "Hey guys I'm new at maf" and thought it'd at least generate some content

can we talk about how Hal says and does things without giving a reason for them?

Eli knows this is how Psy is and I'm gonna state Psy is likely town because they're literally unafraid to wagon shit for pressure and make town active and productive, to me it screams town Psy but like meh.
 
THE READLIST

Townlean:
psy (psy is being psy, i potentially am reading him wrong, but he's pretty much just playing the exact same as last time)
skippergamez (pretty harshly reacted to me voting for them, which is fair, but also don't think they would take that risk as maf)
Duskfall98 (he was hella instigating, I rate that)
Nuxl (interaction between them and Dusk felt pretty towny, Nuxl was voicing their annoyance pretty hard)
JALMONT (I really liked #413 , felt like he was really adamant on having town consensus for major decisions, which makes sense to me imo)
HydrogenHydreigon (initially was gonna put them in neutral, but I liked #307, shows that he's at least interested in having productive townie discussion)

Neutral:
Celever (playing quite similarly to last time, but don't think I have as much as psy for example to feel confident about them, HOW DARE YOU PIN ME AS MAF THOUGH :changry:)
apricity (the "hey i usually am silent but i don't think thats going to work here so I'm going to talk" shtick feels kinda weird and forced, but not really alignment indicative.)
realiti (They've posted a lot, but it's mainly just been "wow we've got 30 pages" or "wow this role is stupid", not a ton of substance)
LS (idk, my radar is kind of off specifically with them, had no idea how to pin her last game either)

Scumlean:
Aura Guardian (I'm never trusting you ever again)
master oden (little useful content to me imo, kinda seems like they just try to post as chaotic as possible, could be a similar situation to psy tho)

can u explain why u compare me to Psy but have us in completely different spots in terms of reads? I don't follow.

these roles are sure kinda strong but it's likely in town and no point killing our strongest assists in the unliekly chance it's mafia

like you want to kill all these "good" roles, but chance are you'll end up killing 3-4 town ones to get the 1 mafia got on rand

That’s not a good analysis.

yes these roles are strong if town but if mafia, they are game losing roles. If the poisoner kills the night before 6-3, the game is over with a ML and we lose a vote. Same goes for mayor.

we can work around mafia jailkeeper/redirector/motivator by somewhat controlling what they do. It’s very hard to make poison/mayor “work” for town if they are mafia.

alternatively you can give me one of these roles. I’m ok with that because I’m town for sure :)
