Pet Mod Fakemon Frontier

Fakemon Name: Tardino
Set Number: 1 (Type and Stats)
Type: Ground / Poison
Stats: 162 / 123 / 73 / 106 / 51 / 30
Abilities: Gooey / Liquid Ooze | Weak Armor (HA)
Movepool: (Universal TMs)
Physical: Earthquake, Gunk Shot, Poison Jab, Rock Slide, Crunch, Psychic Fangs, Dragon Tail
Special: Earth Power, Scorching Sands, Sludge Bomb,
Status: Shore Up, Toxic, Stealth Rock, Corrosive Gas, Roar,
Flavor: Tar Shot (WIP)
Description: Just a nice, splashable, non-passive supporting wall. It has many solid traits for balance v balance such as Poison immunity, status spreading, and Stealth Rock. At the same time, it has solid defensive typing and decently strong attacks. Ground/Poison doesn't look that hot matching up into the six mons we have, but I can't imagine a wall with this typing being bad in the long run.

Fakemon Name: Eisking
Set Number: 2 (Type and Abilities of Dachsbun)
Type: Fairy
Stats: 65 / 75 / 100 / 125 / 90 / 105
Abilities: Well-Baked Body | Aroma Veil (HA)
Movepool: (Universal TMs)
Special: Moonblast, Mystical Fire, Thunderbolt, Shadow Ball, Psychic
Status: Nasty Plot, Calm Mind, Moonlight, Wish, Switcheroo, Parting Shot, Healing Wish, Thunder Wave, Taunt
Flavor: WIP
Description: Straightforward Special attacker that leans towards wallbreaking or Choice Scarf, with good resistances and immunities for switching in. Vamplin is its nemesis, but it can cripple it with prediction.
Flavor: Gingerbread King basically. Theoretically there would be an Eisqueen too.

Fakemon Name: Pluruna
Set Number: 3 (Type, Stats, and Moves)
Type: Electric / Fairy
Stats: 125 / 125 / 100 / 60 / 65 / 50
Abilities: Sticky Hold / Illuminate / Rock Head (HA)
Movepool: (Universal TMs)
Physical: Volt Tackle, Double Shock, Zing Zap, Wild Charge, Play Rough, Spirit Break, Horn Leech, Megahorn,
Special: Volt Switch,
Status: Coil, Stealth Rock, Leech Seed, Thunder Wave, Lunar Dance, Teleport, Trick Room,
Flavor: Moonblast, Dazzling Gleam, Thunder, Thunderbolt, Energy Ball, Grass Knot, Giga Drain, Flash Cannon, Fairy Wind, Spark, Electroweb, Thundershock, Giga Impact, Hyper Beam, Wrap, Calm Mind, Light Screen, Reflect,
Description: Versatile setup or support tank. Sticky Hold can allow longevity with items like Leftovers or Heavy-Duty Boots, while Rock Head allows spamming of Volt Tackle. Coil can be a menace and shrug off hits from non-STAB Earthquakes with a defense boost. It can do well with 2 or 3 attacks and has options like Stealth Rock, Volt Switch/Teleport, or Leech Seed to fill out its sets. It also has a great support movepool for Trick Room.

Stats: 75 / 95 / 90 / 30 / 85 / 75 (450)
Typing: Flying / Dark

Movepool: (Bombirdier) Notable Moves: Knock Off, U-turn, Stealth Rock, Roost, Brave Bird, Drill Run, Foul Play, Memento, Parting Shot, Stone Edge, Sucker Punch, Hone Claws, Taunt, Whirlwind
Description: Defensive pivot with BST efficiency. Has enough bulk to live a few hits (disregarding hazard and status chip due to Magic Guard) and Roost off the damage. Carries plenty of utility in Knock Off, Stealth Rock, and U-turn or Parting Shot, which allows it to keep up momentum while walling. In addition, Knock Off makes it the least passive it can possibly be with one attack. It also has pretty good set versatility, as your opponent may not know if it is running physdef or spadef. It could also run Taunt or Whirlwind to stop set-up. Life Orb + Magic Guard sets exist as well, making use of a good offensive typing and coverage, and can either seek to stay in with Roost, break stall with Taunt, or even act as an offensive pivot with Parting Shot or U-turn. Lastly, Memento and Stealth Rock makes this a capable suicide lead if necessary.

Based off of Iron Bundle :iron bundle:
Fakemon Name: Iron Popsicle
Set Number: 2
Weight: 0,2kgs
Stats: 104/50/120/76/108/112 (570 BST)
Typing: Ice/Water
Abilities: Quark Drive
Genderless

Viable Moves
: Clear Smog, Encore, Flamethrower, Freeze-Dry, Haze, Heal Bell, Hydro Pump, Ice Beam, Recover, Scald, Wish, All Universal TMs

Flavor Moves: Agility, Ally Switch, Aqua Jet, Aqua Tail, Aurora Beam, Blizzard, Brine, Chilling Water, Dazzling Gleam, Disarming Voice, Dive, Echoed Voice, Ember, Fairy Wind, Flash, Flatter, Giga Impact, Heal Pulse, Heat Wave, Hyper Beam, Hyper Voice, Ice Shard, Ice Spinner, Icicle Crash, Icicle Spear, Icy Wind, Life Dew, Liquidation, Lucky Chant, Mist, Misty Terrain, Moonblast, Muddy Water, Mystical Fire, Pain Split, Powder Snow, Rain Dance, Safeguard, Snowscape, Sunny Day, Surf, Swift, Tri Attack, Triple Axel, Waterfall, Water Gun, Water Pulse, Wave Crash

Description: Iron Popsicle is a bulky Ice type, but it attempts it a bit differently than the slow ones you may be used to. It uses Ice's good super-effective coverage alongside high speed to force out its targets. As such, Iron Popsicle can switch into current attackers such as Batacomb and Stavage and hit them with a super-effective option, usually Freeze-Dry. Due to its lack of resistances and its utility moves being that of a cleric rather than a pivot or hazard setter, Iron Popsicle may be more likely to see use on very bulky teams as a way to answer dangerous threats. It may seem a bit strange, but it's my attempt at a bulky Ice type.

Abilities: Shell Armor/Scrappy

Notable Moves: Aqua Cutter, Flip Turn, Liquidation, Waterfall, Wave Crash, Close Combat, Sacred Sword, Superpower, Aerial Ace, Earthquake, Ice Spinner, Knock Off, Swords Dance, X-Scissor
Description: Your average Band user, with powerful moves such as Wave Crash and Close Combat, together with some nice coverage such as Earthquake and Ice Spinner that combos really well with Scrappy.

Flavor: A baculite (squid with a long shell) but it's shell is a sword, and it's tentacles are also sharp.

Alright, time for vetoes! In addition, since Mossy's busy this week, I'm going to be picking up where he left off and have made a full submission review for everything this slate has had to offer so far. I'll be explicitly saying when a submission is vetoed, and no change is technically needed otherwise, these are just recommendations. I have a fair amount of hot takes with this game in general so please take this with a grain of salt, especially since I'm going over so many here today.
Fakemon Name: idk

Fakemon Name: grass

Fakemon Name: ssssss
First off, these three need names and will be vetoed if they don't get them within the next day.

Set 1 mon looks fine, STAB combination is very strong but not flawless as we've seen in Blindsided. I like the approach with Neuroforce and could easily see a world where the right Water or Steel is introduced to handle this better if it ends up being overbearing. The one thing I can mention is that the 70-90 Speed tiers are currently a bit crowded, like four of our six mons are currently in that range and I don't know if it's in our best interest to further push that. I think it's fine not being too high though.

Set 2 mon also looks fine, part of me doesn't like Grav Apple -> U-Turn as a way of gaining momentum but it's almost definitely fine in spite of that. Low base power moves + only 110 Attack + mono Grass until it picks something with Protean should hold it back enough from that or Grav Apple -> other coverage becoming too strong.

I don't see Set 3 mon running Seed Sower for Steel Roller, it seems pretty unappealing when you could just run Spin Out or Steel Wing for much more consistent damage. Both do have their own issues but I don't think Steel Roller is strong enough to justify a moveslot on this when boosting sets would then only have two reliable attacks to work with. I don't see a world where this thing is outright bad because of its typing, physical bulk, and Salt Cure + hazards, but I do like how Seed Sower interacts with a recovery-less Steel and with making Salt Cure less troubling. Looks pretty cool in spite of the fact that you missed on what I imagine was the intended gimmick for this.
Fakemon Name: Froloam (Frog + Loam)

Fakemon Name: Pitoxic (Pitohui + Toxic)

Fakemon Name: Ashsomnia (Ash + Somnia)
Froloam I'm gonna have to veto. Guts is a very powerful ability and that STAB combination is very good in addition to the moves it runs on being high base power, and you have Aqua Jet to beat out faster stuff or Flip Turn to escape whatever Grasses would come in on this. Would suggest removing Flip Turn personally even if you could definitely take a different approach.

Pitoxic would probably end up being a bit boring if it were just for the intended lead sets you had but I could see this also being fairly capable with Nasty Plot sets depending on what else the meta ends up getting. Those sets add a bit of depth to it that I like it for a bit better, although I'd consider adding Agility to give it a clearer fourth moveslot to pair with NP and its STAB moves. Would let it fit onto hyper offense pretty naturally.

I'd be fine with Mind Blown on Ashsomnia, like I'll allow the move itself legal, but the mon itself will probably need a veto. This thing is a bit ridiculous to switch into across Lumina Crash and Mind Blown. Like, for reference, if Slowking doesn't run Sp. Def investment, Life Orb Lumina Crash into Mind Blown is a roll to kill. Pretty big since that thing resists both of those moves and is very specially bulky, and this thing also has a low of defensive use off of its special bulk and Magic Guard and a pretty strong Speed tier. You could probably nerf this in a number of ways but either substantially reducing Sp. Def and Speed or removing Lumina Crash, Mind Blown, and its boosting options would be the two I'd suggest. Feel free to message me on Discord though (or a private message here) if you have other ideas.
Fakemon Name: Not Coldesmaufou
Not really much to say here. I don't think this runs mixed sets at all, its physical moves are all either outright better or are similar enough for it to not care. Definitely running EQ / Flare Blitz / Icicle Crash / Spikes. I like the defensive typing with a Ground immunity here, and the coverage options are really strong but potentially very easy to answer with certain bulky Waters or something. I like it, although again will nitpick about the Speed tier sitting in a crowded area right now.
Name: Ogreclock (Ogre + Overclock)

Name: Manchini (Based on the Manchineel, a notoriously deadly species of tree)
Yup. It sure is Iron Hands. This is actually something I've talked about in Vaporemons a bit, Iron Hands's biggest issue in OU right now is it just doesn't feel quite strong enough to do what it wants, but Iron Fist would fix that. I've gotta wonder if this just won't get any votes because people will find it too boring though. Maybe there's some way to spice the movepool up more to make it stand out, or maybe you could change the typing and keep the movepool?

Mahcnini I wouldn't veto but am a bit on the fence about. Leech Seed, Toxic immunity, those very high stats and potentially Seed Sower all could combine to make this thing extremely difficult for fat mons to take out. Then you add Curse with high base power moves or Knock and I could see it being very easy for this to just spiral out of control. It is a bit tough to say without knowing what our fat mons look like but I'd consider nerfing this in a way that makes it easier for fat stuff to handle just to be safe. As for how I'd go about it there's a lot of ways and anything I'd immediately think of might mess with this thing's restrictions so I'll leave it to you. Feel free to message me on Discord if you'd like to spitball stuff.
Fakemon Name: Medullarch
I really don't think a Kingambit sidegrade is the best basis for a sub, that thing is really borderline as it is. For what it's worth though I think this has the very easy potential to be a lot less stupid than Kingambit, Ice doesn't synergize with this thing especially well and will leave it completely blocked by Steels and, with the right secondary typing, certain Fires and Waters. What could still leave this thing with some broke potential is a demon set of some kind, maybe something like Psychic / Iron Defense / Calm Mind / Rest, but I'm not entirely certain on that. Maybe just having Calm Mind and a really strong specially fat typing could be enough. Like the last one, I wouldn't veto this outright but am a bit iffy on this and could see a future where problematic sets pop up. Maybe just reduce the bulk a bit to be safe.
Fakemon Name: Puffrost

Fakemon Name: Galvanite
I'd appreciate some feedback on these over Discord, although you don't have to if you don't want to of course. Just had to mention.
(Can I Just Sub Nidoking?)
no
Fakemon Name: Cijsun

Fakemon Name: Pluchoric (Glimmora)

Fakemon Name: Maboltany
Cijsun looks like a fine Nidoking upgrade. I know I'm gonna get questions about this being different from Froloam but I think the cut in power and the lack of a Flip Turn or Aqua Jet equivalent is enough to make this fine. Will nitpick by mentioning the 70-90 Speed tiers being crowded once again, if this is an issue to you as well I'd consider dropping it a bit if you want to avoid that and counterbalance the added defensive use but I don't think it's necessary.

I'm a bit iffy on WP + Rock Polish on Pluchoric, those kinds of sets never really seem consistent enough and the quad weakness to Ground makes it more iffy when Grounds are probably going to be some of the more reliable answers to this, with Batacomb being the big and obvious example. Solid Rock still might make up for the lack of Toxic Debris and might allow for choiced sets or something to find a place as well so I'm not going to call it bad but I'd make a bit more changes if your intention is to turn Glimmora into a Rock Polish mon.

Maboltany looks fine, has the same blind spots Teslaple had but without the capability of cheesing past them. Statline is good for what you're trying to do but I will mention the Speed tiers thing again, and I do like that this is capable of running fatter Defog sets if the meta calls for it even if that clearly wasn't the purpose of this sub.
Fakemon Name: Shangoul (Shango [Yourba storm god] + Ghoul)

Fakemon Name: Pixeeth ( Pixie + Teeth )

Fakemon Names: Thornife (Thorn + Knife)
Shangoul I'm gonna have to veto, Sheer Force with that offensive profile is a lot to handle. STAB Shadow Ball is already an extremely spammable move that it's difficult to come by proper resists for and the power boost from Sheer Force Life Orb is pretty substantial. Then you add BoltBeam to the mix and allow it to escape its bad matchups with a decently powerful pivoting move and it becomes a much bigger problem, and this also has a good enough Speed tier to easily outpace practically anything defensive it really could want to. It's again difficult to suggest nerfs without messing with the restrictions but I'd consider swapping its offensive typing for something weaker and changing the STAB moves to match.

Pixeeth is a bit hard to evaluate because its stats are kinda unconventional for this typing. Could lead to it having a pretty interesting playstyle at the end of the day. I think its best set would probably be something with Calm Mind but don't know where else you'd take it from there, like maybe it could run Taunt / Wish / Protect / attacking move. You could maybe drop Sp. Atk by 10 to be certain it doesn't stuff out offensive mons too easily or anything like that.

I'd say that Thornife has a super big offensive profile with Sharpness but that typing is enough to really hold it back. It does have some alright coverage but nothing mind blowing, if anything becomes problematic it'd probably be Stone Edge supporting Sacred Sword enough to be a problem but I really think it should be fine and think Stamina sets could be interesting here.
Fakemon Name: Hareshoe

Fakemon Name: Poad

Fakemon Name: Speruption
We discussed these three on Discord earlier, one other thing I'd mention is that a Poad typing change could be in order to give it a better defensive profile. Maybe something better-suited for special bulk. Oh yeah, its weight is impossible ingame too but that's not an issue for Showdown as much as a flavor concern / a random middle finger to Heavy Slam.
Fakemon Name: Gastropolis

Fakemon Name: Blubberg

Fakemon Name: Screamodo
Gastropolis is very Orthworm-esque, and Blubberg we discussed on Discord. Not really much to say here.

Screamodo I was fine with but Mossy was a bit more hesitant about. There was a Pokemon in a Pet Mod called Stereotypes last gen that had actually a nearly identical playstyle to this in that it had a strong, spammable Normal move (Punk Rock Hyper Voice), a secondary STAB option (Fiery Wrath), and an anti-Steel option (Flamethrower), and Switcheroo, and both of these would ideally run Choice items. This Pokemon was about B-Tier because it was very brittle at the cost of a better Speed tier, but really difficult to make the best use of because it was prediction-reliant and had one super hard counter. This would be similar but would be less risky to use because of the added opportunities its bulk and better typing would provide and there's no super hard counter in this meta yet. I don't think it's outright veto-worthy even if strong and Mossy told me it was kinda borderline for him so he mentioned at least suggesting a nerf. I won't make it mandatory but would recommend a decrease to bulk or Sp. Atk, maybe both if you really wanna be safe.
Fakemon Name: Tardino

Fakemon Name: Eisking

Fakemon Name: Pluruna
Not much to say about Tardino. Seems like a pretty simple, but honest Ground-type and hazard setter, and a nice alternative to Batacomb. Eisking (so like from Adventure Time?) is vetoed because you cannot have two set 1 subs and also it follows only one set 1 restriction, but if it were legal it would also look fine.

Pluruna I think also looks fine but a bit more interesting. Some might call Rock Head a bit of a boring ability to give it since it has exactly one move to abuse it, I'd consider making its primary Zing Zap (Fusion Bolt?) and giving it some other ability instead. Spirit Break might make it a bit annoying to kill as well but not bad by any stretch and I don't think that move is optimal for it.
Fakemon Name: Pulight (Puli + Fight) (Puli is tiger in Tamil)
This thing is going to hit very, very hard across Sheer Force Life Orb and Fire Blast + Focus Blast, already a great offensive typing but you also have a lot of coverage to boost that and make it harder to build checks for. Going to veto this, would recommend you change the abilities to something a bit less impactful.
Fakemon Name: Walcrus (Walrus + crust, referring to the earth’s crust)

Fakemon Name: Arcalia (Arcadia (region in Greece) + Stymphalian birds (bird monster from Greek mythology))
Walcrus is fine, kind of a sidegrade to Mamoswine with Snow Warning and the higher Speed tier at the cost of not having Thick Fat or the same bulk and Attack. Not much to complain about here, just make sure you don't give it Veil as a flavor move lmao

Arcalia looks pretty interesting. I like Magic Guard here, the typing's got a lot of nice perks but is not overly strong so it can capitalize on its cool defensive properties without being too much at risk of feeling annoying to play against. Obviously will perform best into balance but Sucker Punch with its strong attacking moves should be enough to make it feel not completely worthless into offense. Personally like this one.
Fakemon Name: Iron Popsicle
More like Iron Poopsicle
Name: Slashamari (Slash + Calamari)
Discussed on Discord and I think this one's totally fine now, not really much else to say here.

That's about it! You have 24 hours to nerf the vetoed subs or make whatever other changes!

You may now vote! All of the formerly-vetoed subs are eligible to be voted for except Shangoul and Ashsomnia.

Voting's up!

I won for both Set 1 and 2...
Fakemon Name: Puffrost
Set Number: 1 (Leftovers)
Weight: a lot
Stats: 90/70/80/90/130/40 (500)
Typing: Ice/Steel
Abilities: Levitate
Movepool: Ice Beam, Stealth Rock, Parting Shot, Thunder Wave, universals, will add more later
Description: I'm sure this has at least a little bit of expectation since Mossy keeps telling people I make good Steels but here's a funny one instead. I don't think it hurts to add a Steel early on since it could end up giving people a baseline for what the meta's early bulky Steel should look like - if they want their mon to do well into Steels, have them do well into this, or have them do poorly into this if otherwise. Ice/Steel is unironically not horrible from a Sp. Def standpoint, your only overly relevant special weakness is Fire so this should blanket check like everything else. This thing still hates Knock Off, burn, and its two big weaknesses.

Fakemon Name: Galvanite
Set Number: 2
Weight: a lot less
Stats: 80/80/80/110/80/95 (525)
Typing: Dragon/Electric
Abilities: Electromorphosis / Static | Clear Body
Movepool: Miraidon's (notably Draco Meteor, Dragon Pulse, Electro Drift, Flash Cannon, Overheat, Power Gem, Thunderbolt, Volt Switch, Parabolic Charge, Calm Mind, Agility, Taunt)
Description: Electromorphosis is just a seriously cool ability. Volt Switch can hit way harder if you're not careful, boosting sets can get a big one-time punch, Parabolic Charge can get some insane healing and so on. Punishes braindead U-Turn but fully answerable by opposing Grounds, which this does have Draco Meteor for still.
And then in a very very close vote for Set 3, the winner ended up being Beebos with Deasnu- uh, I mean Manchini...
Set 3 ~ (HP+Atk+Def x2 SpAtk+SpDef+Spe and 5+ resistances. Possibly prompt 2 if it ends up using gunk shot or power whip)

Description:
Manchini is a minmaxed physical wall that mainly runs Seed Sower for more firepower a/o recovery, or Wind Rider to improve the matchup with Batacomb and Vamplin. Gets Knock Off, spreads poison with Toxic and TSpikes, and slow U-Turn for pivoting.

Competitively speaking, adds a promising Normal typed offensive breaker that capitalizes on Boomburst being a highly spammable attack. Normal / Dragon have weird overlap, but it's high BP STABs should offset that somewhat weird offensive typing.

Fakemon Name: Kartrake :revavroom::gyarados:
Set Number: 2
Weight: 473,4kgs
Stats: 70/110/70/60/100/120 (530 BST)
Typing: Steel/Ground
Abilities: Heatproof/Light Metal/(Stall)
Movepool: Steelix's Gen 8 Movepool

Description: I am a bit worried about Galvanite since double power on STAB can get out of hand really quickly, so I decided to make an offensive check to it. Kartrake resists both of its STABs and, while Overheat is usually super-effective on Steels, Heatproof helps weaken it to the point you can shrug it off somewhat. Of course, this isn't the entire point of the mon. Ground+Steel is quite a good offensive type combination as seen with Excadrill, mostly struggling against Water types and certain Ground immunities. Kartrake doesn't do notably well against Waters, but it has strong Rock coverage for Flying types in the form of Stone Edge or even Head Smash if necessary. Aqua Tail is another option that can be used to deal more damage to Ground types. Thanks to its high weight, it can use a powerful Heavy Slam and, while it's not quite as strong as Excadrill, its higher Speed makes it much easier for it to start dishing out damage. It also has pretty good bulk for an offensive pokemon, especially on the special side and, paired with its many resistances, that means Kartrake is going to find its way on the field pretty easily. It has a pretty versatile movepool that can allow it to run many sets. All-Out Attacker is the most basic one, most likely opting for Choice Band to really dent switch-ins with its Heavy Slams or Earthquakes, but it also has access to Dragon Dance to attempt a sweep. Thanks to Taunt, Toxic and Stealth Rock, it can even attempt to run a more support-oriented set, whether that's as a lead with Explosion or a Stallbreaker, though its bulk is a bit mediocre so it may not be that great. Anyway every meta needs a few Steel and Ground types and, seeing as the first of those are a bit slower and defensively-oriented, I think Kartrake will be able to add some diversity to the meta and to how one may be able to build a team.

Fakemon Name: Overden :claydol::stonjourner::dhelmise:
Set Number: 3
Weight: 200,0 kgs
Stats: 90/120/120/30/90/60 (510 BST)
Typing: Rock/Grass
Abilities: Sand Stream/Battle Armor/(Overgrow)

Relevant Moves: Body Press, Curse, Drain Punch, Earthquake, Iron Defense, Knock Off, Leech Seed, Meteor Mash, Obstruct, Seismic Toss, Stealth Rock, Stone Edge, Superpower, Wood Hammer, Gen 9 Universal TMs

Flavor Moves: Ancient Power, Bide, Block, Body Slam, Brick Break, Bulldoze, Bullet Seed, Comet Punch, Dizzy Punch, Dynamic Punch, Earth Power, Energy Ball, Flash, Focus Punch, Giga Drain, Giga Impact, Grass Knot, Grassy Glide, Grassy Terrain, Gravity, Hammer Arm, Harden, Headbutt, Heavy Slam, Hyper Beam, Imprison, Ingrain, Iron Head, Mega Punch, Mind Reader, Power Gem, Rain Dance, Rock Blast, Rock Climb, Rock Slide, Rock Smash, Rock Throw, Rock Tomb, Safeguard, Sandstorm, Sand Tomb, Seed Bomb, Smack Down, Solar Beam, Stomping Tantrum, Strength, Sunny Day, Take Down, Zen Headbutt

Description: Overden is an ancient construct that is often found guarding ruins in the desert. Its body is overgrown with vines and other plants. Thanks to Sand Stream giving it a Special Defense boost, high Attack and naturally good physical bulk, Overden is good at 1v1ing several threats. It's held back by a lack of recovery and horrible typing, but it can work around them. Its typing is actually not that bad as Ground and Water neutralities can be rather nice to help it take on current threats like Batacomb and Stavage that Rock types are usually weak to. It's most importantly quite good at stopping Lanburn and Galvanite as it lacks weaknesses to their common moves. It also has Leech Seed and Obstruct as a way to force passive recovery so, while it may have a harder time than most defensive mons, it can still stay healthy. The most relevant thing about Overden is that it has defensive utility while also making very active progress. It can remove items with Knock Off, set up Stealth Rock and wear down opponents with Leech Seed. Most importantly though, it has 120 base Attack with good coverage, allowing it to dish out damage. Overall, Overden adds a big tank to the meta and also adds an interesting dynamic with the addition of Sand.

Name: Hopanzer (Treehopper + Panzer [Armoured in German])
Set: 2
Original Pokemon: Scizor
Typing:

steel.gif
(from Scizor)
Abilities: Battle Armor/Clear Body/Filter
Weight: 400kg (Big Bug)
Stats: 70/130/100/55/80/65 (from Scizor)

Notable Moves: Attack Order, First Impression, Leech Life, Lunge, Megahorn, Skitter Smack, U-Turn, Heavy Slam, Iron Head, Smart Strike, Rock Slide, Stone Edge, Superpower, Swords Dance
Flavor Moves: Universal TMs, Bug Bite, Bug Buzz, Fury Cutter, Infestation, Pin Missile, Pounce, Rage Powder, Signal Beam, Silver Wind, String Shot, Struggle Bug, Flash Cannon, Iron Defense, Magnet Bomb, Metal Burst, Metal Sound, Mirror Shot, Steel Beam, Rock Blast, Rock Tomb, Smack Down, Wide Guard, Bulldoze, Dig, Mud Bomb, Mud Shot, Sand Attack, Sand Tomb

Description: An almost Scizor. Instead of doing the basic Scizor-ing of Bullet Punching, Hopanzer mostly prefers to set itself with Swords Dance safely due to Clear Body, to hit with powerful moves such as Megahorn, Heavy Slam, Iron Head, Leech Life, Attack Order, etc. Filter is also a nice option to it's defensive side, cutting some of the damage from Fire types (although it might not matter that much)

Flavor: A giant Soldadinho made out of steel and kind of looks like a Tank.

Abilities: Overgrow/Rough Skin/Static
Weight
: 700kg (a lot)
Stats: 90/120/90/60/120/60 (540)

Notable Moves: Leaf Blade, Leech Seed, Power Whip, Spiky Shield, Synthesis, Wood Hammer, Thunder Wave, Volt Tackle, Volt Switch, Zing Zap, Knock Off, Rock Slide, Spikes, Stone Edge, Earthquake

Description: Electric Ferrothorn with some other things. It can do the basic Rough Skin thing of regaining HP with Leech Seed, protecting with Spiky Shield and use any of the other moves in it's arsenal to fit whatever you want, like Thunder Wave, Knock Off, Spikes, Power Whip, Volt Switch, etc. It can also try to do something with Overgrowth by activating it by using powerful STAB recoil moves, such as Volt Tackle and Wood Hammer, with good coverage on Rock Slide/Stone Edge and EQ. Finally, Static is also a nice way to punish Physical attackers by crippling their Speed, which can help it's teammates to enter easily on the field without the problem of getting outsped.

Flavor: Ankylosaur that is also a pineapple and a Tesla's Coil.
