What type of bug are you reporting? Teambuilder

What is the bug?
If an East Form (Blue) Gastrodon is in the team and the user hits the + button to add another Pokemon, clicking back onto the Gastrodon at the top of the page and then onto any other Pokemon in the team immediately resets it to a blank West Sea Gastrodon set.

Are you able to replicate it? If so, how?
Hitting the + button and then clicking on and off the Gastrodon at the top of the team

Apologies for the late response, I for some reason wasn't seeing any messages in this thread. And also if this is formatted badly too. I think I explained it slightly badly. The tier I've been using is SM OU (not sure if that makes any difference) and the way I produced it before was by clicking on "import" and then at the bottom the "Specially Defensive" button (which imports, far as I can work out, the SpD set on Gastrodon's SM OU dex page

(later update: you don't need to select the Specially Defensive set from the Import menu - literally any combination of moves, EVs and Item on a blue gastrodon will reset to an empty pink version when you hit + and then back onto gastro)

Been clicking the "Specially Defensive" button down at the bottom next to "Showdown Usage" then Save which then imports a full Gastrodon set:

Like this. If I then go to set it to Blue form (I cba to remember the name lol)

It makes it blue. If I then go to add another Pokemon to the team, then don't actually pick anything and instead click immediately back onto Gastrodon

Then nothing changes. However, the minute you go to select another Pokemon (say, for example, you've chosen a mon you want to add to the team after looking back at the Gastrodon set) and hit the + button at the top

It doesn't do anything, just empties the blue gastrodon set you had before back to an empty pink one, and doesn't pull up the select Pokemon menu.

My working assumption is that this is something to do with the dex set being applied to Pink Gastrodon and not Blue, though why it does this I have no idea lol.

I think I might have some faster steps:
  1. Create a team
  2. Set the format to anything from Gen 4-8
  3. Add Pokemon
  4. Pick Gastrodon
  5. Change to Gastrodon-East
  6. Click in the text field below
  7. Click away
For some reason the dex for past gens only seems to support base formes (the forme selector itself always uses the latest dex).

Honestly, that probably works as well. I'm not at my PC until tomorrow so I'll test it out then, but that would most likely have the same impact I reckon.

Can confirm this works
 
another update to this: it seems to be having the exact same effect with any Pokemon that allows you to change the form of it. also did it with Vivillon and it did the same glitch.
