Abomasnow takes up to 99.4% damage from Lando's Sheer Force + Life Orb-boosted Sludge Wave, then retaliates with a Blizzard that could kill every Lando in existence at once. Alternatively, you can win with 2 Ice Shards.
8 Speed EVs allow Abomasnow to outspeed Bonnet, hitting it with a Blizzard for at least 83.1% damage.
Bonnet strikes back with a Protosynthesis-boosted Close Combat, dealing up to 99.7% damage.
Abomasnow clutches out the match with Ice Shard, preventing Bonnet from going first and killing with Sucker Punch.
At this point, you might be wondering why I put Protect on this monstrous Pokémon, or what the fuck Chilling Water is doing on its moveset. Well, you're in luck!
Abomasnow uses Protect to reveal what move Hugg is using.
If it uses Stone Edge:
- Abomasnow uses Chilling Water, dealing over 50% damage and lowering Hugg's Attack. Thanks to the Attack drop, the incoming Stone Edge only deals up to 95.9% damage, allowing Abomasnow to survive and KO Hugg on the next turn.
If it uses Mirror Coat:
- Abomasnow takes a day off, spamming Ice Shard until Mirror Coat's PP runs out. Afterwards, Abomasnow can finish the job with Chilling Water without having to worry about dying to Mirror Coat.
If it uses Avalanche or Icicle Spear:
- those are weaker than stone edge lmao, what a dummy (Abomasnow still survives and 2HKO's with Chilling Water)
192 HP EVs allow Abomasnow to live Bonnet's Close Combat. Lando's Sludge Wave hits much harder, so I used only HP EVs to tank Close Combat, then added SpD EVs to tank Sludge Wave.
The remaining EVs are dumped into Special Attack. These EVs, along with a +SpA nature and Expert Belt, allow Abomasnow to 2HKO Hugg with Chilling Water, and KO Bonnet with Blizzard + Ice Shard.
Despite having Ice Shard, I'm using a -Atk nature. Using -Def or -SpD instead would require far more EV investment to survive all those super-effective hits, and using -Spe would require putting extra EVs in Speed to still outspeed Bonnet. In any case, there would be less EVs left for Special Attack.
