Here's my periodic table-themed team, I've been using it on Shoddy under the alias pkmn_breeder for a while, and I'd appreciate any comments / critiques.
Drifblim@ Focus Sash ** Helium
Ability: Unburden
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk
Hasty nature (+Spd, -Def)
IVs: 2 / 31 / 2 / 30 / 2 / 30
- Destiny Bond
- Hypnosis
- Hidden Power [Fighting]
- Shadow Ball
If I'm lucky, this poke Survives a hit from a pokemon like Weavile, and activates Focus Sash and Unburden, while putting it to sleep. Destiny Bonds the next pokemon, and bam! there goes 1/3 of my opponent's team.
Miltank @ Leftovers ** Calcium
Ability: Scrappy
EVs: 252 HP / 224 Def / 32 Spd
Impish nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Body Slam
- Earthquake
- Heal Bell
- Milk Drink
Physical sponge, and cleric. Fairly self-explanatory, this gal's pretty cool.
Togekiss@ Choice Scarf ** Oxygen
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 6 HP / 252 Spd / 252 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Air Slash
- Aura Sphere
- Flamethrower
- Hidden Power [Ice]
Flinch hax 2.0. Outspeeds so many things that expect it to be slow, and with a 60% chance of flinch, sometimes the opponent doesn't even get the chance to attack.
Scizor @ Leftovers ** Iron
Ability: Technician
EVs: 232 HP / 252 Atk / 24 Def
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Quick Attack
- Swords Dance
- X-Scissor
- Brick Break
Very sturdy, and after a SD or two, does a lot of damage w/ Quick Attack. Decided to go with Leftovers over Life Orb for extra stability.
Gallade @ Leftovers ** Gallium
Ability: Steadfast
EVs: 236 HP / 54 Def / 4 Spd / 216 SDef
Careful nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
- Bulk Up
- Drain Punch
- Night Slash
- Hypnosis (replace with Shadow Sneak?)
Bulk Up Gallade is very underrated. Boosts its attack and defense with BU, and is surprisingly stable when everyone expects an all-out attacker. Need help with EV's for this poke.
Regirock @ Leftovers ** Magnesium
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Rock Polish
- Counter
- Explosion
- Stone Edge
This set is really cool. Come in on a choice itemmed hit it resists, and Rock Polishes. Then Counters the physical attack, before Exploding on the next poke.
Some issues I have with the team:
- No dedicated special wall.
- Needs a status absorber.
Thanks in advance.
