Ok so top tip on the real

Trying to emulate your scum game as town is wayyyyyy worse than trying to emulate your town game as scum. Town games are legit easier to emulate than scum games are, especially when you’re first starting out, because a lot of your scum game will have been fuelled by emotion and emulating emotion is hard.

So this is actually something I say all the time (I’ve solved the game D1 here before I just got shot for it N1 and then we lost anyway LOL) I did just mean the first hour of the game or smth

I really think this isn’t a bear mech clear tbh

Backup can exist on mafia I think people are just off-base with that. None of us have hosting meta on Charlie so a near mech clear based on the hosting meta of other hosts (that aren’t even from Smogon though Charlie doesn’t mainly host here either) is a recipe for disaster

people tend to have a bias for solvey players. you just end up in a POE this way which makes you lose unless you are playing somewhere where towns suck. to actually have a chance you need to have more agency in the game and not just tank your town games.

We used to do mountainous palate cleansers and they really weren’t popular tbh

I think chaining role madness is p optimal but really it just comes down to hosting mountainous isn’t as interesting as hosting a more involved setup lol
