There's more reasons than just that. A d2 is just fine generally. A cop with a clear can get protection, or at least clear a townie. Claiming makes potential big shots cleaner. Prevents town disruptive roles from blocking null slots with important PRs. And it prevents scum from inventing a new story later. It's absolutely fine. Maybe no optimal in all cases. But yes. Fine.
 
that's fine and you're going to have to live with the fact that people dont want to massclaim and that you said "I need a massclaim to justify forcing the claim out of him "

I think the bigger problem with early massclaim is scum being able to plan their pro-town actions to get into the town core vs later massclaim where you can sus out scum intent
 
It’s understandable why people’s heckles are up when last game M2H strongarmed important town roles (like a revive LOL) into claiming at the start of D2 before major opposing voices woke up and could tell those players not to.

Don’t claim tomorrow. HydrogenHydreigon this includes you, I’m pressuring you not to claim rn:mad:
