Personally I think I’m not being scumread by anyone

(I was about to end this post with #VoteCelever and then immediately realised what the response would be)

There probably is but I'm way too tired to notice it atm. We're getting to the part of the game I have no experience in so I should really learn to shut the fuck up but I just don't think you can read any of Cel/Shane's interactions as townies having an honest disagreement. One of them is trying to bury the other, Shane by turbowagoning him yeaterday and Cel by exhaustively trying to discredit all of his reads to the point that they seem to have no common ground besides maybe(?) townreading me

tbf I'm p sure the only read I discredited from him is his read on me

because that was the only read he offered for the start of D2 lol

sure I also said he was fence sitting at EoD1 but he was :P

He was fencesitting, eh? Join the club, that's EoD wagonomics for ya. A lot of people's wider reads go out the window as they rush to avoid their WCS outcomes

correction: he was fence sitting in the lead up to EoD so that he could hard invest into one wagon at EoD

at EoD himself he fence sat verbally but not in his vote
 
so I'm thinking. if we vote off a mafia today its good. in the event that we vote off a townie, if Jalmont is a vig, he HAS to vig this night. The reason being that firing a vig off on n3 is very risky in the worst case scenario where we don't nab a mafioso.

Mislynch,Night kill and Misvig get us to 8/4. 8/4 numbers is a perfect time to mass claim because we're one phase away from MYLO so its optimal to avoid fakeclaims.


Mislynch+Night kill without vig firing get us to 9/4 on D3. That is good and we don't NEED to massclaim during D3 but that would also require Jalmont to not fire the vig again on N3 because that would potentially put us in MYLO in D4.

I think D3 massclaim is optimal but a D4 massclaim could be possible if Jalmont never vigs.

We should never delay massclaim until MYLO

its always best to share your thoughts, even if people dont agree with you it helps you to be read, your intentions matter a lot even if reads are wrong (and they might be right too!)

the problem with your approach is, you are identifying that both celever and shane can be posting as town (because its tvs)

a) you believe that celever could be reacting to shane this way as uninformed town, if shane is scum
b) you believe that shane could be reacting to shane this way as uninformed town, if celever is scum

however given that the players in a and b relies on them being uninformed, theres no real reason to rule out c:

c) celever is uninformed town, triggering shane who is uninformed town, while both look "like" scum to the other, but they got into a loop of uninformed towness where they are each acting as option a or b

if you think they could potentially be acting as uninformed town in different scenarios, you have to pick a clear reason WHY they cant both be town (theres no real absolute reason)

failing this, its a far better approach, at least in my opinion to just take their posts in isolation, is celever posting towny, or scummy? is shane posting towny or scummy? dont play off their dynamic and say IT MUST BE EXACLTY ONE, but take their posts as they are in isolation, because you currently have a worldview where you believe at least one of them is a towny posting as they are, both are just deciding it cant be both of them because they got in a fight even though both postings could be independently towny
