I mean I don’t doubt that alignment cop was his real or host-provided safe claim, but I’m also conscious that an alignment (or at least mafia check) cop and a full on roleblocker (and, apparently, a vig except we don’t have a vig obviously) is a genuinely powerful town already. If all 3 of you are being honest then I expect scum to be pretty strong in return, even if we also have some weaker roles.

tbf ive never balanced a game but 3 strong mafia or 4 weaker/mid mafia feels like balanced for 17 to me intuitively

his solving has not really been there d2, he demanded townreads for no reason based on simply having a role and it makes no sense, and also hes now claiming idle which is suspicious at best, its not implausible he would do it as town but its at the very least a bit suspect

already did bb fighting fairy sm and then tossing her in null is big scum distance vibe

so pulsar was deeply into the idea of a genisu / fairy scumteam, especially that genisu is scum

(I noticed this from Neon's sheet, I mean this the most of the stuff he recorded from her)

she didn't case it that well but I think it's understandable on readback, and putting stock into dead town's reads is always beneficial. With other currents today towards voting out genisu, I'm increasingly cool with it, even if there are legitimate thread dynamics reasons to be wary of wrt that slot. Seems fine as supporting evidence for voting out a fairy too which I might be slightly keener for
