I used it as my only team in the CAP Malaconda playtest. Where I used Malaconda to U-Turn lure everything that either Dugtrio can trap or Moltres getting a free hurricane on (Scizor, Loom, and even Toxicroak and Conk were decently common in the suspect just because of it's addition) I did use it in a few matches of Standard OU too (around 30 to 40) I used it as a partner for a Sharpedo sweep, which was nice with the exception of having to run Donphan as the spinner in an attempt to stack Electric weaknesses. Starmie+Dugtrio is also a solid core to support it as Starmie spins and Dugtrio gives you better weather support, while luring Scizor in for a free Hurricane, while Starmie lures Ferrothorn. Overall, the best things to have for Moltres is stuff that can lure in free switchins for Moltres, as having it on your team actually makes you happy for Landorus-I's coming in. I think the SR weakness is not the only real issue though. The fact that you have to run Spinner/Rain/Moltres means you likely will have 3 electric weak Pokemon right off the bat. Really puts a strain on teambuilding. I heard about using it in with Torn-I, but i think the elec weakness is just too much
