Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
Soul Dewless Latios would still be a huge ass threat to the metagame. It's faster and more powerful than SpecsMence, but without the horrible 4x Ice Weak or the SR weak, not to mention you might be able to make use of it's other STAB.
On topic Wob. is a pretty crappy uber. In fact it's the only...
I'm surprised more people haven't been answering Gyarados. That thing is simply monstrous. In addition why the hell isn't Gengar even an option on that poll? The unpredictability, the power, the speed, Gengar is a huge threat.
Starmie isn't really a huge threat but it has been OU for 4...
my team actually doesn't utilize spikes, sr, poison spikes, hail or ss. so when i made it i had to keep shedinja in mind at all times because the lack of these moves meant that it was indeed possible for shedinja to come in against me and live. 5 out of my 6 have a move that can hit shedinja...
Gengar is probably one of the best leads out there. It's only real problem is it doesn't have godly speed. 350 is fast, but it's not fast enough.
I hear good things about Bronzong but it seems like mere set up fodder to me, especially against the hyper offensive leads like Gengar. >.>;;
@WuddleBlock: Clefable and Mamoswine are both immune to hail damage and learn Stealth Rock. Try one out.
Back on topic. It's not surprising to see that Stealth Rock is the most common of the three. I personally love what it does to Ninjask and Vespiquen. I've never had a problem with Heracross...
Bronzong is the bane of my existance. It eats my face with all those resistances and Hypnosis.
Skarmbliss + Starmie has been raping me lately. It's like it was made to counter everything those two can't.
I've been wondering for awhile now how many people use these 3 moves. They all seem very useful and I always try to use as many as possible if I can, but the setup gives your opponent alot of free time and if they have a good spinner it's all wasted.
i personally can't stand blissey, sure it takes special hits even better than lugia, but it has no offense. it's nothing more than set-up fodder.
Snorlax on the other hand is teh sex with that nice base 110 attack stat.
fire bug
fire bug would suck so bad. 4x stealth rock weak and NO spikes immunity, that's 75% damage coming in.
still other than rock it's weaknesses aren't so bad and it's STAB is nice.
anything with a 4x weak is just crap IMO. rock/ice would be the absolute worse though, 4x steel and...
abomasnow
I think abomasnow should be UU. It's so weak. It's only got 60 base speed, which is just abysmal, and that huge list of weaknesses means it can easily be handled by a large number UU pokemon.
It's weaknesses are...
4x Fire
2x Flying
2x Poison
2x Steel
2x Rock
2x Bug
2x Fighting
and...
I've been thinking about this same thing alot recently and I was going to create this topic myself, until you beat me to it. I was thinking of type combinations for a potential 5th gen.
Grass/Dragon
Fire/Ghost
Water/Bug
Those as starters. A Grass Dragon would make a team of 6 4x Ice weaknesses...
Alot of people around where I live use the Union Room. I like to chill in there with most of my team and just pwn them as none of them are really that good. I've been using FEAR Smeargle and a Drifblim, neither of which have been particularly useful. I've never heard anyone call it FEAR...
