Worse case scenario, from my perspective, is going back to hoping you count right, like in DPPt, for doing page flips. No way to check your position until you're done catching your poke, or not.
Now, there's a horrible thought. They did change it slightly for HGSS, didn't they? That's why RNG Reporter has a button to click for doing things in HGSS. But still, I think things can be figured out based on the frames we land on when we make mistakes and successes, if one keeps a record of them all.
Well, it can never go backward to being like Emerald, because of the DS clock being used to time events. So it's just a matter of discovering what actions will advance the frames in the fifth gen games.
Right. Well, since I'll be very up to my elbows breeding and catching, I guess I can wait for the battling too. :-)

Yep, pre-ordered from a Japanese seller on e-Bay. I hope he's quick shipping it. He's usually quick, per his feedback. I'm going to rely on Bulbapedia for the basic stuff I need on Kanji (natures, attacks, etc.). I'll just have to do a lot of guessing as for the story line and then just a lot of testing for the RNG work.

Oh! Lol. Sorry. Yeah, I'll try catching one of those later. I've been mastering different aspects of the game for RNG, so it was headbutt this time. Next will be pokes in the bug contest maybe and later the safari zone. I have no idea where to save in the game to do a safari RNG. No one seems to be talking about it on the help forum.

I've been butting since yesterday, lol. I'm almost done with this adamant spread, I think. There's this exeggcute to do and maybe a swellow, though I'm not sure anyone wants adamant for a swellow. :-) The encounter slots are kinda random though.
