Yes, this is true. It's looks like there's a good spread for ice that has many encounter slots. I'm only mentioning these because it seems a shame not to catch other pokemon with the spreads. I just don't know what other pokes would use them.
What does that mean, as high as I'm willing to go?
So it doesn't really matter except that I can get a useful number of frames with a synch. That'll make my choices easier. I did a modest ice spread on diamond and only found out later that it has exactly three viable frames with a synch, which limits encounter slots like you wouldn't believe. So now I check the seed before I do the SID RNG.
So what do I put for minimum and maximum delay?
Two cats, one very big dog, two ferrets, some fish, a lizard and tarantula, two budgies, many many bugs to feed lizard and spider.
I suspect it will be a heal ball. I'm checking out doing an RNG for an HP fire spread. Do you think the ice spread is overdone for shiny on this forum?
What if I don't want a particular hidden power? Is there a way to skip that question?

Uh oh. My 5th calibration attempt yielded an 11 second result. 497 Delay
Does delay matter much? My delay is always off by a tiny bit. My third attemp got me 10 seconds with 489 delay
Okay I calibrated twice getting these results. Next step?
