Yeah, that's fine. I only needed the Cacnea in 5th Gen for breeding with Cottonee.
It only gets Beat Up in 5th Gen, but I could use a Seedot in each Gen. I really only need a random Male one in 4th, and one with Beat Up and Worry Seed in 5th.
It's perfectly fine, I just like to be kept in the know. Whenever you can finish them is good.

Yeah I looked and went through that guide before. I tried to abuse an emu, but my computer doesn't let me change the time so that work went down the drain xD
