  • No pain = more gain for us in the field of battle :D

Stabbed through the stomach? Lost an arm? No problem, we'll just get back up and kill you while your back is turned :D
All soldiers under our control have been experimented on so that they cannot feel pain. Only certain warriors we have deemed fit can feel anything.
Hey Comp, sorry to be so needy, but if you would, could you finish and/or start your Flashes in the Darkness sign up please? I want to start it in the next few days.
Well, with so much going on, we don't want to be falling behind the times with our reporting. But I get the feeling we need more than just 2 journalists....
Whatever, I'll handle that. My articles should practically write themselves given current events.
So where would I put the 'hides' in the NPC Archive? (I want to hide all the names in the BpB Archive, since the list is so long)
I didn't mean you. I ment the group as an overall. You are the rare exception. Sorry about the misunderstanding :(
    You're Familiar is a Human? O_o
Yeah, well he used to go corrupt whenever he wore the cloak. Regardless, he was inches away from that happening, having everybody hate him and the Shadow haunt him so...

I got the Inspiration for "The Shadow" in a very little-known book called "A Wizard of EarthSea" In which this guy summons the dead, but instead it forms an anti-self that wanders the land terrorising People. However, the Shadow was mostly an Original Idea to prevent Jakob from being so overpowered...
wait - aren't YOU Salazar? Or am I confusing things... O_o

anyway, yeah. Jakob is haunted by "The Shadow of Death" - an evil spirit with the powers of Darkness. He possessed Jakob all those years ago, until a mysterious Druid (the one who I'm talking with in my post) locked the Shadow away in the cloak. He also summoned Kramer. A raven that was to be Jakob's familiar...

anyway, so yeah, Kramer died and the Shadow was released from the Cloak, he took over Jakob, but was unlucky enough to be seperated from him.
Now, The Shadow has Replaced Kramer as Jakob's familiar, and is set on corrupting him to a severe depression in which his mind will break and he'll become a willing Servant of the Shadow.
However, Elizabeth, a nurse in the Syndicate that can control water and other liquids, has helped Jakob out of that mess...
Jakob is in his twenties, but he lost seven years of his life being Posessed by the Shadow. As such, he is very childish in the way he acts...
Moves strongers against other types has always been around, that's a given. But I'm talking about the turn "Super effective" which you so kindly removed ^_^
