Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
Yeah, noobs are like whatever. I used to run Skarmbliss, but not anymore. And I agree, we could probably use a VGC tutor program, but the only thing that comes close is someone tutoring in the art of doubles...
I'm cooking tonight, so I'm not going anywhere. And, I have 30 minutes until I pull my stuff out of the oven, and I'll put it back in for a bit. So I have time now!
Could probably become an official name for this type of Pokemon. :) And I agree, though it's truly up to the officials to decide to implement these analyses. There's certain people that prefer to keep it a secret, though.
Yeah, but double battle sets aren't really mentioned that much in any analysis, though it really deserves a mention. Eruptran's basically only good in doubles, especially trick room teams. =\
True, and yeah, once the giveaway is over, it officially becomes a reference thread. Unfortunately, Quiet Heatrans aren't mentioned in its own Smogon page... =\
No prob, and I'm probably with you in that one. Unfortunately, I don't know a whole lot about 5th gen competitive battling, so there's not much I can say about it, isn't there? =\
Thank you very much. In regard top your earlier post, I think that Bulky Waters are going to rule again, and Nattori will be the best Spiker out there :)
Yeah, same here. VGC is like whatever, but Smogon tiering is all about not just fair play, but to balance every single metagame. I'll admit, I've learned a lot from watching VGC matches, and I agree with you, there's some unique gameplay as well. :D
Yeah, and luckily enough, Smogon takes this issue seriously, thanks to all the expert hack checkers. And yeah, I agree with you - legit players are the way to go, and that's why we have VGC.
