yeah, just start your DS, set up your clock to your desired time and then after you turn it on again just wait at the white screen where it says "Pokemon Platinum", "camera" and "Options" and press A as soon as your external clock gets to any minute with 0 seconds (make sure that your clocks are synch tho). That way you omit the SR part (where you can also make some error). At least it was easier for me, back when I didn't use PikaTimer -
