Pokecheck ribbons are just ribbons that are given to Pokemon that go through the Pokecheck system. They mean that they have the chance to be free or they could be from someone using Pokecheck to Transfer.
They're bad because it's the chance that those Pokemon can be obtained for free. I personally don't care so long as the Pokemon is useful in battle or for breeding.

I have all the berries, it's just me and WZ were thinking up ideas, and using a Yache berry was questioned, so we asked in the SR/SQ thread.
There isn't much off-hand that I can think of that you don't have that is missing. Theoretically, you could use Moody Octillery in the VGC, but I wouldn't reccomend it simply due to its inconsistent results and you may be lynched. I agree though that the timing is somewhat evil, I'm back at Uni next week myself.
