I saw you were wondering if an exploit of Colosseum / XD RNG would be possible.
That's what I can say :

The RNG is dependant of the date of the GC / Wii
When you load your game, 3 random numbers are generated, they seem to have an importance on the Pokémon you'll caught.

Unfortunately, I'm not able to do a lot of research on this, and Dolphin (a GC emulator) doesn't work properly on my PC =/

Hi, Eppie. I'm having a really hard time with the Buizel set. It's on Platinum and I need to land on an even frame, but I keep landing on an odd numbered adjacent frame. Like when I have a target frame of 18, I land on 17. When I have a target of 12, I land on 11. I hit my seed by Coin Flips, saved the game and discovered I was on Frame 11 and therefore not my darned Buizel. Crappy IVs. I asked about this problem on the help forum last night, but no one answered. I'm trying again now.

I was wondering, if I can't solve this, would bother you to have a linked trade egg (from my HGSS game) that I hatched in Platinum at your wanted location? If this isn't good, I may have to ask you to farm the Buizel BP out to someone else who can hit their seed better. My delays are bouncing more on Platinum than on my HG game, so this makes it even worse. :-(

Let me know if a linked trade egg is ok with you or not.

Uhm, not that easy to explain, feel free to ask that same question again...

So, you need to put on Word (or whatever you use) a list of all the ID/SID combos, followed by the Mid (which is binary) for each sav file, then just look for a spread you want and check its corresponding binary value to see if you can find a perfect match with one of your Mids.

Example:

Emrld1 = 35695 / 01192

1000 1111 1100 0

Emrld2 = 28170 / 08147

0111 0001 1101 1


and so on...
