Sorry I'm uploading a battle right now and I'm putting a other one on my PC which I'm gonna edit now.
I only really suggested the DSi XL because he/she didn't have a DS and because of it's bigger screens. Though I do fear that the bigger screens will just stretch the games, making some of the DS's graphics even worse. The suggestion was based purely on opinion and my obsession with shiny new things, I do not have one. So I would not recommend one for you as you have a DS and IMO it is not advantageous to those with a DS already. Sorry for the long rant, but you asked. :P
