One thing that somewhat bothers me is that Sprigatito's name is a portmanteau of an English word and a Spanish word, but Fuecoco's is a combination of two Spanish words (and Quaxly is something else). Does this mildly bother anyone else?

Really? Actually, Lanturn looks more like the actual animal that it's supposed to be based on, the football fish; Chinchou is the generic made-up design. IMHO, though!

Personally, pale Parasect's palette (alliteration!) kind of adds to the vibe that it doesn't like to be in sunlight (according to some Pokedex entries, it prefers dark forests) (see also: Dry Skin), so it makes sense that it looks washed-out. But that's just me.

Not sure if it's been expressed in the past, but the new-ish trend that involves naming almost all major NPCs after plants/flowers slightly annoys me, especially when it's not subtle. Like, names like Lillie/Lusamine/Gladion are ok, and Leon/Hop/Rose (is that his first or last name?) are fine...
