uhh, just ev it and don't let it evolve i guess. i have rare candies and i could get it up to lvl 45 myself.
ev spreads i want are
252 atk and speed and the rest in hp. Also, could you not let it evolve until lvl 46 and teach it baton pass? At lvl 45 it'll learn that move :D one more thing, you have access to max TMs right? Could you teach it Swords Dance with a TM?
