Well if you have to buy used bring your DS and a 4th gen game. When you Pal Park if the 3rd gen game save gets erased it's a fake game. Just hope there's a save on it and the store will let you test it out.
Have you considered looking on Ebay for Emerald? It may take a while to find deals but...
Myself I'm going to try for a good deal for all 5 GBA pokemon games for about $55. That is if I'm allowed to get them...

I might've gotten it from Ebondragonx when I was cloning for him. I might've put it up myself because I didn't know the redis rights on it. Man I'm just gonna delete all those other mons form my thread xD
