The L button was affected and not the R Button? You'd think it would be that way...cuz that's what happened with my Lite. Then again, the DSi is no better. If one of the shoulder buttons don't work, get this...just blow in them and they respond!

Yes, you can do it that way. HGSS abuse is very very easy. It's worth your time to check my guides, really. It's easier than DPPt because there are so many ways to check which frame you're on and which delay, etc. It might seem complicated, but seriously, it's so much better than DPPt.
