  • I can't help you without your ID/SID combo, your target nature, info about everstone and such things.
I'll keep it then because I can't make choice when it comes down to creativity stuff because I always debate myself between two things
Oh really? Maybe I'll merge both… or flush the writing to the right… Or maybe I'll just keep the new format, but change it to the middle and reverse it a bit
Did it seem new and unexpected while this one is too similar to other ones?
I think one was from an OT named EXIE, can't remember the other, I've erased them from my hard drive, though they should be around smogon or google somewhere
That's insane. Well… maybe not that much, I mean, there's been some mass giveaways here, I downloaded some zips totaling over 200 pkms and also the pkms from this website I can't remember
That's just crazy. I barely began trading here, so I only have about 50, listed most of them on a simple list on my first post, as reference
I'll probably take down some of the less popular pokémon that I didn't catch/breed. I might as well just leave my own, that speed boost blaziken, zandock's vulpix, alex's ferroseed, and the thundurus up because no one likes stuff like Flora's Milotic or LEE the poison heal breloom
Now the fun part begins… updating all those other pokémon stuck with the old format Dx
    - Dealing with moving NPCs is a pain, but possible. What I suggest is that once you've saved in a spot ready to catch a mon, then don't save again until you have it. Instead, load, mash X to open up the menu and immediately catch a mon using sweet scent without even advancing the PID frame. Then figure out which PID frame you caught it on using the PIDRNG viewer on the main screen. Reset, do this again a couple times (tossing any results that are obviously from your other timer0). You should see where your shifted starting frame (or SSF) is after a couple results; treat that as your starting frame and advance the PID as normal. Just make sure to mash X to open up the menu ASAP.

There's probably more that I can't think of because I'm tired, but I'll look it over tomorrow. If you have any questions, leave 'em here and I'll do my best to answer.
    - Search like mad. Go back in time, forward in time, comb the whole calendar year and then the next. Shiny frames with good IVs won't show up often, not on IV frame 1 at least. It will take a while to find a good seed.

    - If you're going for a Hidden Power, read up on how they work and use the HP_E and HP_O features in your IV parameters for the relevant stats.

    - If you're trying to capture a shiny stationary pokemon, it's an order of magnitude easier than with a Sweet Scent'd pokemon. Not having to worry about encounter rates and abilities will increase the amount of seeds you have access to immensely.

    - Breeding is also extremely easy to find seeds for. You do have to deal with moving NPCs, but that's doable. I can give you a run-down on how I breed later if you'd like.
Well, then you sound pretty prepared. Here's my advice, then:

    - Make sure to search for seeds with up to 3 keypresses. This will increase the amount of seeds you get, what, 1000 times? 10,000? A lot. A lot more.

    - Only search for seeds with an IV frame of 1. While it is possible to control both the IV frame and the PID frame, it's a serious, serious hassle.

    - Make sure to have some play in your IVs. If you're searching for an IV frame 1 shiny with straight 31s for IVs you will be at it all day. While it isn't impossible, it will be extremely rare.

    - I suggest you up your max shiny frame to at least 500. Yes, you will have to listen to a lot of chatot calls. But you don't have to stop searching when you start RNG'ing; just keep RNG Reporter running and if a better seed pops up, swap to it!
