    Good luck Smaug! Yourself, myself, sandshrewz and Jellicent are the only active amateur GPs left (I think).

    I'm not sure if this applies, as Great Sage is pretty efficient, but I'd suggest you apply as soon as possible. I think that ibo and Fate looked over ALL of my checks when I applied, rather than just the three you send (which are your "cover letter") and the two week wait between the time I applied and my receiving the test gave me some time to hone my skills.

    But what did you mean by fluff? I didn't think that it was fluffy, and you didn't really unfluff it. Could you give me some examples?

    I'm official GP though, so I only need to consider placeholders of other GP members. You really can't tell when an amateur GPer is going to finish their check; if an official GP member waits to stamp it, and the amateur GPer doesn't actually complete the check for an entire week, the process is slowed down dramatically.

    Yea that's one thing. But don't overboard :P there's a difference between telling the writer the mistakes and telling him what to do to not make those mistakes. You know where to draw the line ;) it's better to tell the writer's good points then to say all the mistakes. Yes the point of gp is to rectify those mistakes, but making the writer happy is worth it as well :) try to let the writer know the mistakes in a way that he is encouraged not to make them again, as opposed to saying outright what is wrong. Hope you get what I mean, lol. All the best! :)

    Just an advice, don't need to talk about the authors' flaw or anything in your gp check. Most likely if they have multiple errors, English isn't their first language. Just do what you got to do :) some words of ncouragement wouldn't hurt. Give the analysis writer a few perks and he'll be happy to implement your check as well ;) good luck! :D oh, and good luck for your gp app too! I'm applying tomorrow I guess.

    Jellicent is an excellaent Pokémon. Not only does it wall sum some of OUs best attackers, (comma) badly an it is capable of burnings them as well. badly it also Furthermore, it does formidable Grammar-Prose (hyphen) checks. these cheks are very good. (Redundant)

    Now can NixHex please stamp this thing so we can get it on site?

    smaug 9.9 why did you GP check Tauros.
    You should have at least waited until they had implemented my check.
    Especially because now the checks are redundant.

    Sorry to be a negative nancy, but instead of saying things like 'terrible prose' on analyses, maybe you could say something more constructive, offer advice to writers on how to improve. I'm sure they'd appreciate constructive advice, rather than a harsh criticism.

    I mean I'm not really working on any of my analyses right now--they're all in GP stage, and implementing checks suck. But thank you for pointing out Manectric got a GP check. I didn't even notice.

    I'm going to update these all within a few days. So yes, I will finish off Cryogonal, Azumarill, and Manectric.

    Well with me being on Pokemon Lab previously I thought it was better to only use this for team rates.
