  • I just know the basics, but not enough to RNG.
Also when do you plan on doing self-destruct snorlax?
No, I'm just playing through Pokemon White so I can RNG Zekrom and the others. You?
Also jolly Deoxys can ne used even if it's attack stat is low. You can use it as an OU lead. Just give it some 3rd Gen exclusives.
yeah if you can abuse that poke you can search for semi-perfect spreads in 3 gen i know is a pain in the ass but you can do it :3!
    3504958121 IMPISH - 010x20
    Frame 3504958121, Method 1, Impish, 31/30/31/x/29/31.

    3936350751 MODEST - 0x2001
    Frame 3936350751, Method 1, Modest, 31/x/29/31/31/30.

Now, in the second tab, use Excel's "search" function and look for the same Frame, you should see all the ivs listed for that spread.
I assume you have Excel 2007. Enable macros first, then you'll see 4 tabs at the bottom of the sheet (Main , RGdb , Egg , Ref).
You'll need to type your ID and your SID for every game you create in the proper row, then press "Menu -> Rerun Method 1 Shiny search" and it will look for good method1 shiny spreads.
After filling some rows, you'll only need to update the search instead of rerunning it. If you want to check shininess on a new egg, type its PID in the tab "Egg" Under "Egg PID Hex" (any of the two will be fine). If that egg will hatch shiny in one of your save files, a number will appear under "sav file match", that number indicates the save file you'll have to hatch the egg at. If there's no match you'll only see "No Match".
256 Is a good start, but if you plan to breed all the pokes that get an emerald exclusive move I suggest a minimum of 350. Oh, do you have Shadowhunter's excel file? It's very handy if you want to check the "shininess".
...I was just wondering. In case you didn't read "Like I know that you can't RNG the ID/SID for a good spread" I'm not being a douche, I was just asking. There's no need to get defensive. Some people don't know what it's like to RNG in Emerald. I have never RNGed in Emerald, but I know that you can't RNG the ID/SID for good spreads, and that it takes days to reach the frame. I was just asking. No need to get so pissy.
Ok cool first we will have to RNG enough pokemon and I hav only about 10 so I will RNG more and more pokemon from now :)
    Good luck dude!
You should surely do a shiny chansey and gengar! Do you plan on doing 5th Gen RNG? Because I plan on learning 5th Gen RNG and we can form a joint trade thread! :)
You need 3 pkmn in total, the first is your newly bred pkmn with mimic tutored in emerald but without selfdestruct (let's say snorlax for example), the second is a smeargle with selfdestruct, double edge, curse, counter and the third is a ditto with transform.

Enter a double battle with ditto first slot and snorlax 2nd slot.
Turn1 - use transform with ditto and counter or bslam or dedge with snorlax
Turn2 - use a potion with ditto's turn and let snorlax mimic ditto
Turn3 - switch ditto with smeargle and make snorlax use transform on ditto (it'll transform to a smeargle)
Turn4 - switch the smeargle with any other poke and finish the battle without switching snorlax (you can even use selfdestruct so it faints with the opponent's pokes and it won't gain exp)
