I do remember, and I even wrote up the warstory, but it only got one comment. (Perhaps that's for the best; normally, those things get flamed into oblivion.)

A pity I didn't do all that well at the actual VGC; an awful misprediction had me switch in a Rayquaza to take a Blizzard, and it was all downhill from there (although I could still have won with luck, I didn't get the luck I needed).
