  • Okay, suit yourself. Steps for SS RNGing for egg IVs:
    1. Calibrate
    2. Try to hit your seed and verify that you did.
    3. Put parents in daycare.
    4. Hit target frame and then wait for an egg.
    5. Save in front of the old man when the egg is ready.
    6. Hit target seed again.
    7. Hit target frame again after hitting the correct target seed (for a 2nd time).
    8. Pick up the egg.
Hmmm...would it be possible to get a Grass Knot TM pre-taught to that Chimchar? I'm afraid I've already used mine, and I don't have AR so no 99x TMs. If not, I can get one, but I don't know how long it would take.

BTW, I can trade soon, I just need to finish this 7-round streak.
Well, what's stopping you from trying SS then? I say do what takes less time, what's easier, what has more stuff to offer, etc. I'll be able to help you out as well since I've RNGed eggs already.
See other benefits for more details lol. Besides, if a person like me can RNG in SS, I don't see why you can't when you got it on a more difficult game - Pt.
You can catch flawless pokemon, but only in certain natures. I'm not sure which natures, but timid is one of them.
A way to verify your seed (Elm calls), only 1 NPC to screw up your delay (during breeding for IVs), simpler ways to advance frames (calling Youngster Joey, rejecting eggs, or calling Elm when you RNG for egg IVs), and more pokemon in general to name a few.
A method is something used to generate your target Pokémon. The basic rule of thumb is that all Pokémon are generated with Method J, except for the runners, which are generated by Method 1 (Smogon guide). Method K is for HGSS (says so in Riski's guide). Not sure about the seed, you're going to have to read both guides to have a better feel of capture RNG. They're not explicit enough, I know that already, but you can put the pieces together hopefully with both guides, a video, and maybe another guide that I'm trying to find for you.
There should be another guide somewhere. I'm not even going to go back to RNGing in DPPt unless it's capture RNG. SS is where it's at haha.
I've been trying to RNG since I joined Smogon. Also, someone posted links to these on the OP of the PRNG board I think. Good luck!
Even though it was starting to melt (because I wanted to have dessert after lunch), it still was good because food tastes better when it's free lol. Okay, I'm going to decide on my 6 parents now so we can trade soon.
I can pick them up in a couple of hours, and the Infernape will be done tomorrow. The Smeargle might take some time, unfortunately, mainly because of Lunar Dance. 2 questions though:
    1. When you say bringing it to it's final evolution/moveset gives an extra credit, well, I have no idea what the Ape's moveset is to be >_< So let me know if you want me to do that.
    2. I can EV train the Smeargle, what's the wanted spread?
I just got back from a mini-trip; I didn't get to think about what parents I will transfer, but I did end up getting a free dessert from McDonalds. What a decent day lol.
    Okay. Thank you.

And Thanks for the doing the pokemon projects for me. I appreciate it.

If you still want to make sure that the 2 legendaries aren't hacked, you hack check them if you want or you can post on the SQSR thread to ask the smogoners if they are hacked or not because alot of them have the same pokemon. :D
I understand. But you don't have to worry. The two legendary pokemon that I got aren't hacked. They are perfectly legitiment. They origianlly belong to Arren (Psychoward). Just like the shiny timid Lugia that you see on the other players' thread on this site. :D
That's weird, but at least you got it. I want to breed a Squirtle, Staryu, and Duskull next. I will need your assistance once I decide on which 6 parents to bring =P
Yeah, that's true, but I need to practice more so I can get better. Good job! What was the problem?
Yeah, that's the spirit; quitting should never be an option [as long as winning is possible]! Thanks for the reference, but I'm still new to RNG lol. Tougher BPs might take me a whole day and I only have 6 of them left. We'll see what I can do and learn within 6 days.
Hey ninja, just wondering if you were up for doing a (relatively) simple HG/SS BP(or maybe even CP) for me? VM me if so.
