Oh that's right. What game are you on? You have to enable the Mystery Gift option first IIRC. For DPPt there's a certain phrase you have to say to someone in the TV building in Jubilife but I forget what. I don't know how to enable Mystery Gift in HGSS.
That would probably work but you should be able to do it on the save you already have. First load your save, then on the right load the Enigma Stone wondercard into one of the card slots (note that you won't see the change in the wondercard until you choose a different slot then back). Then on the left click the From WC button and choose the wondercard slot that has the Enigma Stone card.
