    Morning before 10:00 works good. 5pm and 9pm onward are safe bets as well. If you can't do those times we can work other ones out.

    Similar time the following day works for me if that's easier. Alternatively, could try your AM, depends on how early you're willing to play. I wouldn't want to start after 11pm my time, which is 9am your time (ideally a bit earlier).

    Not gonna piss up the thread but here you go.

    Much of the records of match redos with freeze clause on cartridge can be seen in places like Azure Heights. There was no truly defined ruleset and many players abided by a sort of "honour" code; "house rules" if you will. But among the better players - including those who started Smogon - this was what you'd often see. Officially sanctioned play also validated this.

    Interesting. Maybe I should be going through those forums to gauge how pervasive that was. It just seems to me that there are too many reasons to not rematch for it to be common. Hidden information and a given player already having an advantage prior would be the top ones I can think of

    Back then, simulators didn't enforce any ruleset at all, so defying that "honour code" players had would usually get you strung up. Like using Tradeback moves on Porygon's Big Show. It was really silly, but it allowed for stuff like that to be around enough for it to carry over into common rulesets. Everyone had their own standard.
